thanks for your help, took my fav out today to test and it runs great, know does moving to the larger pinion gear make that much differance, plus want a little more speed but not wanting to go mad, what motor would you advice, what kind of turn would it accept, was thinking of anything from a sport tuned 23t to something around a 15t motor.

hi there can anyone give me some help, i have a fav that i got off ebay not so long ago, first run after a strip and ballraced complete car was at the wrexham meet when i got a nasty clicking noise from the gearbox when putting full power on, also seems as though not much power going to the wheels, the transmission feels free enough, i have used frog re-re dog bones and outer shafts etc to make the gearbox better. so what have i done wrong, heard poeple talk of shims, if these are to fitted, where do i get some from also where do they go.

reason behind the 13t motor is simple thats what i have lying about, the 13t motor is a single, plus i have a 15t double.

25th of next month sounds good to me, count me in.

well did'nt get the upgrades before sunday so went with stock motor and gearing, was ok on the track, but boy was it slow down the straights, so will rectify that for next time, going with sugested, 58t spur, 23t pinion, metal motor mount, alum prop, 13t motor and 19t limit esc, already ballraced. should be a different animal next meet. thanks for all your advice.

thanks for the advice, ive fitted metal ballraces, always my first job, ive already fitted a lrp ai pro 10t limit esc, along with a yokohoma 13t pro stock 2 motor with a 3racing heatsink, running stock gearing 19/61 would this motor suite the stock gearing, are am i heading for trouble. ive just ordered an upgrade prop shaft, oil shocks and metal motor mount. ive just rushed to get a on-roader for the up coming wrexham meet on sunday so didnt have much time to get upgrades. do you think i will damage anything with my setup for the day.

hi all just bought a tt-01 chassis car and was woundering what upgrades are worth getting, im not into bling bling, just the worth while upgrades that will make the difference.

gave in today and went and got a on-roader, never really been bothered, as im a buggy man but did'nt want to miss out on any fun, so got myself a tt-01 subaru 58305 to be exact, will ballrace it and maybe put a slightly faster than stock motor but not sure. still cant wait to test my fav on the track as its not yet been run since i bought it. really looking forward to the meet guys.

i too watch rctvlive, and i would love to see more tamieeeeyyyaaa as they say.

hi all just won a fav and really excited about it as ive wanted one for what seems like a life time, i already have a re-re frog and have some spare parts that i bought as spares, i have most of the rear drive train etc, how much of the frog parts will fit the fav as i realy want to run it (carefully). will be ordering some brat tyres for rear, need to source some front tyres too. will the tamiya frog hex adapters fit so i can run some say carson wheels and save the originals for show, i also have a spare set of shocks of the rear of the re-re frong, would these fit the fav. plus any other weak points on this car so i can source spares. all i have to do is wait for it to be delivered.

might see if i get a tent sorted to come down saturday. i love pizza lol.

i use the varipulse myself and find it great for the money, i too use vapex batteries, bought 6 3700mah a few months back, use them in my e-savage and there are great and really cheap.

hi there i used a hotshot 1 antenna holder, drilled a small hole at the rear of flat bed, looked far better.
