  1. Nice work even if it is a little late lol.
  2. I think alot of the Magic is from getting together with like minded folk and running these vintage Beauties, over here we have regular meets and its great to see so many tamiya's and kyosho's running around a track or just in a park.
  3. Ive looked into this a few times as im also sick of changing batteries. check sizes but http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9787__Turnigy_1450mAh_3S_11_1v_Transmitter_Lipoly_Pack.html or this if it will fit your radio, its got built in over discharge tech http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__31315__Turnigy_9XR_Safety_Protected_11_1v_3s_2200mAh_1_5C_Transmitter_Pack.html
  4. Hi Mike, im pretty sure the body mounting holes are different, but easily altered im sure, maybe someone else can jump in and confirm this as ive only got an original. As for using a larger frog pinion, i have seen this done but be sure to keep an eye on motor temps as it will put the motor and esc under greater load when setting off as your effectively upping the gear ratio quite alot. Myself i would just fit the sport tuned with stock gearing.
  5. When i first moved away from Tamiya molex plugs, i thought long and hard, i wanted something that was cheap, could take higher current and most of all for me, easy to solder. I first went with losi EC3 and for a while found them perfect, but as some of my cars are brushless i wanted something a bit beefier, so ive been using the losi EC5 connectors for a few years now, i buy in bulk from hobbyking.
  6. You need to head towards the visitor centre, then turn right at the junction before you reach the car park, follow it round and you will find us on the left, next to a hill.
