Thinking of ordering a hi-lift and just looking into other things required, i have a couple of esc one is a LRP AI PRO REVERSE DIGITAL DOWN TO A 10 TURN and a NOSRAM HAWK POWER REVERSE 15 TURN LIMIT. Would these be ok, there both new as i went through a stage of buying electronics for upcoming projects. also radio, ive looked on ebay and seen loads of 4ch stuff but i think it must be for flight models, can anyone suggest some cheap radio gear as someone has chopped my money tree down and run off with it. Can i get away with 3 channnel and if so can anyone suggest a brand or model off 3ch and 4ch that will not break the bank as it took me long enough to convince the wife to let me spend the money on a hi-lift. Any help would be very greatful.

been hit a couple of times when importing from hong kong, usually around £15 as long as you bear this in mind when buying then it should'nt be a problem, i find prices cheap enough to warrant paying the customs chargers.

wanting to fit newer hex wheels on rear of my newer aquired gh2, been searching on ebay and other sites. ive already modded my falcon by just fitting hex's but due to the axle's on the grasshooper 2 are much longer, does anyone have any ideas on where i can purchase some adapters from.

was woundering which 80's tamiya buggy, would be best bought to use as a runner, so a well built reliable buggy that does'nt cost the earth to fix if i break it and fun to drive, can be 2wd or 4wd and be able to handle maybe down to a 14turn motor. some ideas would help me choose.

hi just got a midnight pumpkin of ebay and in the process of restoring back to its former glory, just woundering what else i can do to make her handle alittle better, stripped it and was running with hornet pinion, and i have a set of yellow tamiya oil shocks which im going to fit. what motor would suit this car with a new 10t pinion.

bought an e tree off ebay to find it had everything except one e3 part was missing and the body mounts where the things i required so has anyone got a spare one. paypal waiting.

hi there just bought a midnight pumpkin of ebay, where else. when stripping it to ballrace it etc i found it was fitted with the spacer missing from the motor and was wearing the hornet pinion, and for a minute i thought would this work and how would it affect the performance and birden on the motor and gearbox etc.

hi running a team mtroniks vision series motor with 14x2 turns with a 16t pinion, just woundering if this is the best setup, and could i get away with fitting a 18 or 20 tooth pinion gear or would the motor overheat, cant see anyway to fit a heat sink, would fitting a standard 540 silver can and a 20t pinion be a better bet for top speed.

Hi wondering if anyone has either tried this or have any ideas, i want to make my bush devil into a kind of cheap ford ranger truck, want to keep the newer gearbox of the bush devil but info on shorter arms and drive shafts etc, for the front thought of putting a frog/brat front end on but dont like the setup prefer something softer with more travel, did not know if i could put a king blackfoot front end on with shorter arms again, any advice would be a big help.

have just won a 306 maxi off ebay and was woundering what hop ups to get as i wasnt to make it a fast road car as its the only on-road car i own. i have got a 14x2 motor installed with esc, it already has topcap oil shocks and uprated springs. was woundering if i need the heatsink fitting with the big motor as ive heard of chassis melting. are there a speed tuned gear set or anything, im using a 16 tooth pinion at the mo is this the best choice with the present motor. also full ballraces fitted always first job. anymore info please include many thanks.

cheers fellas, gave me some good idea's, i thought of putting something over the vents but was not sure if the motor would get too hot, the foam sounds good and im gonna lock the diff on the next car i take to the beech, again many thanks.

after watching one scorcher movie after another on the beach i was wondering why they are so good, is it due to the lack of differential. i have run a few of my cars at spurn point and had very little traction, my hornet with grasshopper rears had no grip at all, even my blazing star which is 4wd struggled, so to get to the point i was thinking of locking the diffs up before i go the beach again. another point i killed a 14 turn motor due to it gettting a lot of sand in it as did the others any ideas how to protect against this happening again.

should be around for 11.30 although when i went the week before last it was closed off. but see some/anyone who turns up around there.

i visit tc every day, could'nt live without it. lol

I must say how good it looks when the figure's are fitted tamiya cars, and after attempting to paint them myself, very badly i was woundering if anyone would take on the job of painting my figures, at present i have an hornet driver that needs the paint removing then repainting and i have a new mad fighter figure still attached to the tree and im looking for a blackfoot figure that would fit in my bush devil. would anyone take on this job and how much would you charge i have paypal and can cover all postage cost's.

When you thinking of, not made a meet at clumber as yet but i do go quite alot, so post a date are something and hopefully a few of us may be available.

looking for a suitable replacement for the appalling plastic fittings on my mad fighter, as the originals make the front wheels face inwards, with no means of altering. any help would be very greatful.

can anyone help i have a few ni-mh race packs and had bought a eagle racing 1Amp dicharger (Active Mate 2) for ni-mh packs but noticed it says on the front that it discharges to 0volts, will this damage the cells or is it ok, im new to discharging and never done it before as always used nicads.

hi there i was woundering if anyone knows of some adjustable steering arms as the plastic ones with the kit are poor to say the least making it impossible to have the wheels point straight instead of inwards slightly.

which cars are next, ss would be nice,just been looking on tamiya website and noticed the grasshooper 1 58346. any thoughts on what could be next.
