  1. Thanks for the kind words Mr Silver-Can, i think the wildone lost its lower shock screw so making it un-balanced. I really enjoy making these video's they do take some time to go through all the footage for the really good stuff, but well worth it when everyone enjoys them.

Hope to see you sometime at a meet :D

    Regards Mark

  2. They do take time, between working late and meetings etc at moment its tricky, but almost finished the main video and should get it uploaded tonight hopefully, im never happy with the results, time to look at a more flash video editor i think, plus need to get better with the capturing of the raw material. Thanks for the kind remark John.

  3. Plenty of time for me to get my Rc's sorted.

If we could have as many blackfoots and monster beetles please, it would make a great video, also how about vintage 2wd, i would love to tryout my vintage holiday buggy now its got a 540 in it. Also a vintage 4wd race, boomers, hotshot/supershot, thunder shot, bigwig etc. Just 5 minute races, nothing too taxing for these Tamiya Golden oldies.

So get those dusty Rc's out for a light run.

  4. All good advice. lipo alarms are cheap as chips, or you could fit a lipo-cutoff, although i sold all my tamiya esc's on and bought esc's like mtroniks/modelsport xt series or the Hobbywing QUICRUN 1060 Brushed ESC, both are cheap, compact units, have lipo cut-off built in and bec. oh and waterproof.

Very mixed reviews on the TBLE-02 esc's. Although ive not had one myself.

And i second the steal pinion, i never fit the kit pinions they go straight in the bin.

  5. Hi Tim, Welcome to the forum and Rc. Sounds like your off to a flying start and doing great, good to see you've started out with Lipo's as there great, just checking though, if your TT02 came with a Tamiya TEU104BK or the newer TEU105BK then neither have lipo cut-off built and you would over discharge your lipo.

    i

Also depending what radio gear your using, the 104 esc has no bec so sends battery voltage straight to your receiver, if on the other hand you have a 105 esc then this does have bec and your fine, just don't want you to damage your receiver as most dont like more than 6v.

Anyways keep us upto date and post up some pictures.

    Regards Mark

  6. In a very short period the Clumber Meets have become very popular and lots of fun, Most is down to Mr Weston for providing and setting up with some help from the rest of us, Im a basher not a racer and i find the track spot of for the vintage buggies and trucks we run.

    Regards Mark

Ps Nice video John, but you took your time lol.
