  1. im looking into the possiblilty of changing my car motor and esc's to brushless systems, can anyone recommend a starter set to trial before i take the plunge. next i drive on the beach when i can, how well sealed are the brushless motors, dont laugh but was also woundering about my cars ability to handle the power i have a baja champ, grasshopper 2 and a touareg, is there a truck puller type brushless system not wanting much speed but good torque and maintence free. im guessing the grasshopper 2 would be difficult to keep in a straight line with the extra power but has oil shock front and rear and would be fun. cheapest brussless combo i found is on modelsport link below.

any help or advice would be very useful.

  2. just wondering if it would be worth purchasing a 20t pinion, i run the car pretty stock just ball raced and lock rear diff, has standard rs540sh motor fitted. ive bought this car for the beach but just woundered if anyone runs the 20t. also the rs-540sh motor fitted what does the sh stand for. ive tried looking for tamiya motor info but failed, thought it would be handy to know difference to make choosing the right motor for the job.

  3. hi there i had a 4 channel electric chopper, which the wife bought me last christmas. i was really looking forward to getting the little baby airborne.  i should have listened to other people and used some training software first, but no not me i was born to fly, as u can guess i crashed it with minutes and would have been cheaper to buy another than repair it. so from now on im sticking to cars. ive seen the heli's with the twin rotor blades that seem really easy to fly and cheap, wish i bought one lol.

  4. hi there nice car, had one not long back, i ran a 14 double in mine and found it very twitchy and went through a badword of alot of front tyres. drive train wise it would handle alot more power but getting it down on the road is the problem.

  5. hi there been looking for ages but now im thinking of trying out a brushless setup in my tl-01 chassis, firstly would this take the extra power, most i have had in there is a 14x2 motor. can a brushless be fitted in this chassis, and what type is best to go for, i dont want to spend a fortune on my first try but want it to be quick.  if tl-01 not upto the job what road going car chassis is best suited.

  6. Really the perfect choice would be a sand scorcher but there so expensive to buy, so i need a car thats fun to drive, has good ground clearance and that the motor is placed where i can prevent sand getting in to it as i have kiiled a couple of motors in the past. so unless someone is selling a cheapish sand scorcher in running condition, i would love to hear what u think. also is there a foam filter for 540 size motors.

  7. just woundering if anyone makes a 1/10 scale escort mk 1or 2 bodyshell, these would great on a road or even better a rally car. Has the guys at kamtec ever been aproached to make one. I think older cars look much better than the modern clone cars that all lookalike. any ideas on other bodyshells you would like to see. i would love someone to make a range rover shell for my cc01.
