  1. Got out for a quick run this morning and got 87mph. Still a long way to go but not to bad for a basically stock TT02. Didn't take a camera with me so don’t have the speed to get into the speed run thread but there is always next run. Got some tuning to do then back out or a another run.
  2. I also use the same as above, quick and easy to use. For when they are charge I also use charge caps

What a difference just a clean and a set of new wheels makes

    Garage find

Hey, Was having a clear clear out of the garage and found this in a cupboard. Remember buying it from ebay years and years ago but couldnt tell you the chassis. Does anyone know? Going to restore it to a good working condition then sell it off. The shell is in good condition for being buried under stuff in a cupboard. Hope you enjoy the restoration. Marc
  5. Have to go with my favourite being my tamiya wild dagger. Running two torque tuned motors on 3s, not the fastest rc car i have but it shifts for an old thing. The only rc car i wouldnt sell for anything
  6. I dont usually like the comical tamiyas but that looks good. Good work
  7. Yeh dont know how i managed that one. Could an admin delete please?
  8. Thought i had put the link in the first post, my mistake, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122588385896
  9. Only 30 quid. Almost tempted to get it and run it into walls ( says in the description not to do that haha )
  10. Was having a look around on ebay today and found something that made me laugh so thought i would share it. Wonder what brand name they are trying to copy haha apparently it does 20mph. Doesnt show any pictures of the chassis though

  13. That looks like a total beast. Great work
  14. Hey Dan, I am not to sure on the F103GT chassis as i haven't ever had a play about with one. Same with the TT02 type S chassis. I know it differs from the TT02 but not sure on how much they differences make. If using the F103GT you just have to be a bit kinder to the throttle with it being a RWD, Also with it being a basically direct drive to the back wheels could work out as an advantage. Less energy losses in the drivetrain than the TT02. Best thing to do it strap a gps to the cars and give them a run each. Cheers Marc
  15. @DeadMeat666 I have though about dish style wheel but they are very hard to find in foam tyre form ( or it could just be me that hasnt found them ) Had the car out for a test tonight. The steering just does its own thing. Going to upgrade the steering mechanism as soon as i can get parts to see if it helps any. The Kv and gearing seems fine so far, ran for about 5 minutes with plenty of hard acceleration and the motor was hot but not overly so going to go up a bit with the pinion. But on the upside tonight i upped my PB with the chassis to 48 haha
