Watching..this is cool. A couple questions:
Where and what surface do you plan on a speed run?
Aero - At that speed, aero is going to be a huge factor. Have you done any research for a body with a low Cd? I'm looking at that green body, thinking the wing will add a lot of of drag.
Hey, thanks for following the thread. I have a road that I go to at my work, its a long straight that is pretty much nice smooth tarmac.
I have looked at other body shells but for now I am curious to see how fast I can get it along with making it look as standard stock as possible. For the wing I have carbon fibre ordered so that I can make a flatter wing to fit on

I haven't upgraded the shocks on mine but another upgrade you could think about is the 4 wheel steering mod. Really easy to do

Hey,
I thought i would open a build thread for the new TT02 speed run build for anyone that wants to follow along with the mission to 110mph.
The starting point is a 90% stock TT02. Will be running a alien power systems 4.5t motor with a team orion vortex r8 130amp. Starting off on 2s to see how far i can get it with the smallest battery.
Other upgrades so far are the alloy prop shaft and alloy motor mount.
Also cant forget the contact foam tyres to keep the grip on the runs.
Hope you enjoy following along to the updates, i know there is people that have already been to high speeds with the TT02 but i find the testing and problem solving the best part.

Hey,
I have put my Tamiya hornet roller up for sale on ebay if anyone is interested. Bought it a while back from ebay and have never used it. Been sat under the work bench for about 3 months so it is time it went to make space for something else.

If you use proper tyre glue, it's extremely thin and capillary action will draw it around the entire bead.
Less is best, it's a different beast to conventional CA glue.
I think that is my main problem. trying to do it with normal super glue. Need to get some tyre glue ordered

I used to have a holiday buggy with a cheap ebay special Goolrc 3900KV brushless motor and esc. Used to do about 25 mph on 3s and was masses of fun. Cant remember what the gearing was though. think it was the 19t pinion.

Hey,
I am currently trying to glue the tyres on my TT02 and was wondering if there is a good technique to do it? I end up getting glue on the outside of the tyre wall and it looks a bit rubbish.
Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,
Just purchased a road wizard f1. The john player special variant #58053. The car seems in really good nick and apart from a servo, reciever and a esc it only needs a upper suspension arm.
Is there any best place to get parts for this car? Have had a search on the internet with no luck so far.
Thanks in advance,
Marc
