This is my trf419xr, test fitting a new body for carpet racing.

Not one of my trf's but I enjoyed racing it at the 2021 revival

Does anyone race any tamiya trf's these days? Im the only one at my two local clubs that run tamiya cars. I do have 3 schumacher buggies but prefer the tamiya cars. Im a solid front midfield runner, I race against schumacher mi5,6,7 and xray touring cars with great results. My current cars are trf419x, running on polished wood floor using mini pins and a trf419xr full carpet set up. They are great cars and in my opinion still worthy opponents. So does anyone else race tamiya trf touring cars?????

Started in third and finished in second, just one and a bit seconds off first! I just needed one more lap lol.

Hi luke, on the motor esc side, I take it your in a blinkey mode? Personally go for the xr10pro and a g4 hobbywing motor (17.5t?) There are more adjustments you can have and still be in the blinkey mode. Hope this helps. Tom

Looking good. Great chassis, what motor are you going to use? tamiya 53824 Body I run this on my trf419xr and all of my other touring cars that I race. It meets all the requirements and is aero dynamic!

Tamiya do a 4 degree blue hub carrier, I use them on my top force evolution 👍 It looks very nice!

Do you have a programme card? It could be the thermal cut out, wrong battery type selection, wrong voltage selection. Also have you set the transmitter end points? Hope you get it sorted 👍
