I use a Radiomaster TX16s transmitter using a 3 position switch to change gears, which has been mapped to SFR-1 prop channel 6 and is providing direct control of the required servo.
There are 2 ways on an SFR-1 to achieve gear changes using a 3 position switch :
1. Direct Control.
The switch will have to have been assigned to a SFR-1 proportional channel and adjustment of endpoints needs to be made at the transmitter.
2. Assign Servo Position Movement.
The switch will have to have been assigned to a SFR-1 proportional channel and the Servo positions 1 & 2 set to the relevant timed pulses for 1st & 3rd gears (2nd being the home position. To activate the 1st gear you would assign the static A position of the proportional channel to the relevant servo position 1 (3rd gear would use the static D position).
