[Pinion pitch question]

I’ve got a slipper clutch and it has a 48 pitch with 77 tooth spur gear. The Robinson racing gear I had been using with stock spur wasn’t working too well. I’ve just ordered a 48 pitch 32 tooth pinion. I must be on the right path.

I’m not sure if this will help but I have an XV01 and had plenty of fun upgrading it to long damper spec. Added some cool hop ups and it goes really well. I also found a DF03ra at a hobby shop and that is pretty cool too. 
Speaking of the MF01X I purchased that one a couple of days ago to see how that goes. Plenty of awesome chassis out there. I haven’t had a look at TT-02 but probably will give in eventually. 
 

[DF03ra upgrade for motor and esc]

Hi everyone, I've recently built a Df03ra Lancer and its awesome. I purchased a motor and esc for it and it didn't quite fit because of the motor cords coming out of the top side of the motor. Anyway the advice I was after is: has anyone built a Df03ra and upgraded the motor and esc? I want it to be around that 3000kv or higher rating. The main point of my post is to discover some ESC and motor combos which allows the ESC to fit nicely in the DF03ra's compartment (very narrow) and for the motor to have the cords coming out of the end rather than the top corner. Happy to remove this post if it's been asked before.

[XV01 upgrades]

Hi all, I own a XV-01 Tamiya kit and have upgraded the motor and battery. It goes really well and is so much fun to drive. 

I am interested in upgrading the shocks and adding the custom aluminium parts from a suggested company. This has probably been covered before but I am  new to the forum and fairly new to kit building. Open to all suggestions even just sending me onto the right post from the past. Thank you
