Parts are no longer available. Thanks, ED

I need to put a list of parts together for my second one before I can start building it. Ball Diff, lexan body, modern tires, coil over shocks. I am sure I will find more. ED

I got the chance to build my first Sand Scorcher today. It has to be one of the most enjoyable kits to build. I plan to do a box art paint job. My Next Sand Scorcher, will be built to race at the 2011 Vintage Off Road Nationals in Waterbury, CT ED

There is a track in Waterbury CT that has hosted a Vintage Nationals for the last two years. here is the A-main http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh4sWwXz70k http://www.rchr.biz/ I brought my Rc-10, but next year I might also bring a Frog/Hotshot. ED

First the 2010 Camaro now this! I thought I was wasting my time years ago when I provided feedback on Tamiya's website asking for them to re-release the SandScorcher. Well this is not the SandScorcher, but close enough. If AMC decides to come back and Re-Release the Cj-7 I will loose my mind.. ED -
Hope To Get Some Help With These....

Found this old picture of my Original hotshot., My Dad made the chassis

I started soaking a front arm in a mixture of Super Clean and Bleach White. As for the re-dye I do not see why it would not work with black, but I am not sure what it would do to the plastic by boiling it again.

I will be receiving a gold RC-10 and would like to know, is there anyway to bring the plastics bits back there former white glory? Ed

Building a WW1 is a lot of fun. I have two that stillneed some finishing touches. But in my quest to build them I ended up with some spare parts. I tried selling them before but had not luck. Let me know if you are interested. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?...p;hl=WIld+Willy Ed

I am looking to to buy a receiver and servo for my re-release Hot Shot & Frog and wanted to know what you guys would recommend. I do not need anything fancy just so they are ready to go if I ever get the urge. Thanks, Ed

My First R/C Christmas included a huge box which inside had a Frog, Tamiya hump back battery and a charger. My dad and I spent all afternoon building it on the kitchen table. I will never forget that. I have had a number of other R/C Christmas's that included a HotShot, Team Losi JrX2, Futabe Junior radios adn after market mortors and parts. Now about 20 years later I am repeating my past :-) Last year I got a Frog and Yesterday I got another HotShot. Nothin beats the smell of a new Tamiya kit on christmas ... ED
