  1. So dug out the hobbywing and it works fine with this ESC thanks for the suggestion cyclonecap, I wasnt aware of some ESCs having an issue picking up reverse, but live and learn. Just wish Id tried this first would have saved me a heap of time and hair pulling!
  2. Good shout thanks, think ive got a hobbywing somewhere. Will dig it out and test and update. Cheers
  3. Hi all, I bought an Absima Cr3p a couple of years ago. The car I predominantly used this for broke last autumn and ive only just got around to fixing it. On trying the car out the cr3p transmitter was dead, so I replaced the batteries in it. I then got the car powered up, however I just cant get reverse to work, ive googled it and tried various settings and changed things. Ive tried 3 different cr3p receivers but they are all the same, no reverse. Ive also recalibrated the Sniper RV-12 ESC in the car, swapped out this ESC for a different ESC, same issue. Tried a different battery in the car and a different motor, same thing. Rev is set to Nor on the transmitter, ABS is off, Trim is N00, DR 100%, EPA 100%. When squeezing the throttle either to go forwards or backwards the esc lights go off the same for both as if its communicating correctly, but with no reverse movement. Steering is fine. Any other suggestions please? I don’t believe I could have 3 duff receivers, but perhaps the transmitter is duff after the batteries drained in it over winter? Thanks for reading and any light shed would be appreciated! BLPsg
