The first couple of bits for my Hotshot 2 restoration arrived today. An arial, some sponge tape and a tool bag (gave mine away many many years ago).

Hi, When I signed up the other day it asked me to fill a section out on why I was into RC models etc. I did and foolishly did not reread what I’d typed before proceeding. Now having re-read it I’ve realised there are spelling mistakes, however I can not see for the life of me how to edit it! Is it possible? Perhaps I need to use a desktop browser... Thanks, Mark.

Hi, I’ve acquired a Hotshot 2/Supershot roof that appears to have been painted a metallic grey colour. Is that period correct? From recollection some 30 years ago and from looking at pictures I believe it should be brushed? Thinking of using some wire wool to clean it up but don’t want to remove it if that’s how it’s supposed to be. Thanks, Mark.
