  1. Further rummaging found a small bag of spare parts. I guess kid me was smart enough to stock up. Now if I can just figure out how exactly to change the brushes in this motor...Orion no longer has a manual on the website. Good thing I won't be too sad if I break it and have to buy something new and shiny.
  2. I figured it would not take long for someone to know these things off the top of their head. Thanks! I'll look into the M-05.
  3. Good Morning, I suspect like a lot of people during these "lockdowns" I get to dig through old things in the attic. Including the jackpot I found in my old RC cars. Picture of the (not really) amazing things attached. For whatever reason, I never finished building the TA05. It was literally one solder connection and a painted cover away. I can't for the life of me remember why I didn't complete it. After a lot of poking and prodding, I managed to get it to run for about 2 minutes, before the fully charged battery died. I assume after 20 years the battery needs to be replaced. A lot of other things to. So I had some questions and hoped some of the more in tune folks here could point me in the right direction. 1) The FF02 suffered an accident a long time ago, and I wasn't able to find a place to procure new gears for it. Now, I can't even find the info on what the part numbers might be that I need to replace. I was never super attached to the chassis, but I love the cover (my first one). Does anyone know if any current frame can use the same standoffs, and has the same mini wheelbase? 2) The TA05 has an Orion Revolution V2 10x2. Probably not the best motor for this purpose, but at the time, I thought it was what I really wanted. But, I can't seem to find a place to buy replacement brushes for it now. Does anyone know where a good source might be? If not, any recommendations on a brushless setup that is compatible with this chassis? The ESC is an IPC v7.1 and the receiver is a Hitec Lynx AM. Both somehow seem to still function great, so I am not too worried about them. Anyway, thanks and hello from Massachusetts. Hope everyone is doing well.
