  1. Thanks all. Just realised I'm running a Carson ESC.
  2. Hi. I have the hornet with a sports tuned and it flies and handles well. My son has the grasshopper and I tried the sports tuned and was too quick for the grasshopper. I have put the 540 silver can into the grasshopper and it goes fast. The esc is the one that came with the kit. It's mainly used on tarmac and the back garden (short grass). We also found a place where a farmer has a field and is dry flat mud so very dusty which is great fun. I was thinking the 380 sports tuned. Thanks for the reply
  3. Any which ever one would suit. I seen that people were saying they were good and cheaper. Thanks.
  4. Hi All Simple question please if I may. 380 Sports tuned 540 Torque tuned Or Absima motor What's best For the grasshopper. Would love your views. Thanks in advance all. Stay Safe. 😊👍
  5. Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback I'll just stick with the couple hop ups I've already done.
  6. Hi All. New to the club. I have a Hornet and Grasshopper. Wondering what is best to upgrade the shocks/suspension in these two to get the best performance and drive.. The hornet I've put a centre shock by the gearbox/motor (sports tuned) to help with the bounce you get with these. I already have metal bearings. Do i need to upgrade shocks? Grasshopper all I've done so far is put a silver 540 Motor 32 Pinion and metal bearings. I did put a sports tuned 540 but found it really powerful and got big wheelies. I did read to put the Hornets shocks on in replace. All I'm after is better handling as my son will be using it as I use the Hornet. Ive read many posts on the Web that are different ideas but wanted to know the best with our forking out for mods from shaoeways/Ampro etc. Any ideas welcome and thanks for reading.
