Our club always welcomes new members regardless of what they run, as long as it is a stock 27 turn motor and 1:10 scale. We have a huge variety of cars and people are always interested in how well my heavy TB-01 does. We have TC3s HPIs Yokomos, and 2 EVO III. It is true that unless you go high end, the tamiya cars aren't that competive. (at least my TB-01 isn't (yet)) But give it a try, be the underdog with the nicest looking wheels.

Hi all, I've started racing locally with my 2001 Subaru TB-01
(http://www.irocc.ca). I've assembled it like an enzo then tweaked it with springs, better tires etc..But this converted rally car just isn't competitive against the TC3s HPIs etc. (Although the one guy with an EVO III does very well). I've got it handling as best as I can but it is still a heavy car and has a lot of roll in the corners. Stiffer springs result in less traction, softer springs result in lifting wheels. So I may be trading up to a faster track car.
Has anybody tried the new TB-02? They are supposed to be modeled after the delicious EVO III for competitive street racing Pricing is competitive with the TC3 Racer.

Racing with the TB-02?

I wish I could afford an EVO, If I had the budget, I wouldn't think twice about it. That's why I'm thinking about at TB-02.
Is the ball diff bolt breakage problem something to be concerned about?
