I live just outside Lancaster, PA with my wife, 17 year old daughter, 15 year old son and 12 year old son.
I'm a Taekwon-Do Instructor for over 30 years and currently working as a teacher's aide for our school district. I plan on going back to school and getting a degree in education.
My 1st Tamiya was a Hornet back in 1984. Ran that with my friends who had a Frog, Boomerang, Fox. Then my 1st 4WD was a Tamiya Boomerang, then a Thundershot in 1987 which I converted for road racing running with Zeppelin Hobbies in Wayne, NJ. I took home many 1st place trophies those 3-4 summers.
Then started college, got married, bought a house and had kids. When my parents passed away my sister found my box of rc stuff and my original Thundershot. I got back into the hobby this year with quarantine and restored about 5 Tamiyas, built 10 along with my sons who now own 2 each.
We started racing dirt at Pit Stop Hobbies in Mt. Joy, PA about 5 miles from our home with my Tamiya TRF201, my son's Team Associated B6D and my 12 year old's Traxxas Slash. Recently my son and I started running road courses with the TT02.
