  1. Also selling the brand new tires and wheels out of the same brand new box! $85 shipped for the tires and wheels.
  2. I just opened my Super Clod box up and dont need the 2 motors or ESC. How about 55 bucks shipped inside of the 48 states. Also tires and wheels for sale brand new out of box as well. $85 for tires and wheels.
  3. This is what a guy said about these shock mounts: In the normal orientation of the shock the bottom of the shock pivots front to back which follows the motion of the suspension and allows maximum flexibility. The mounts posted will turn the bottom of the shock 90 degree so that it will pivot left to right. There will still be some front to back pivot but not nearly as much. In certain situations this will introduce bind. Especially if the mounts are coupled with an extended wheelbase which will exacerbate the issue.
  4. What about these shock mounts? Good or bad?: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Clodbuster-axle-brace-single-shock-mount/293807273492?hash=item4468473614:g:gagAAOSwY-NeKw8-
  5. Can anyone help me find 4 shocks for my new Clod I have on the way? I want them to be 100mm or somewhere a little bigger than 100mm.
  6. So should I drill holes in the wheels 90 degrees from the other holes that came with the wheel?
  7. Ok cool thanks! And I want 3 or 4 spots of glue on both sides of the wheels?
  8. Ok so my stock tires are running fine on stock wheels without glue. And I have brushless Hobbywing 4000kv motors on the Clod. Should I try with my Gold Firestorms without glue? Or would partial glue work say 4 different spots around the tires?
  9. I have these tires and wheels going on a rerelease super clod: https://www.amainhobbies.com/jconcepts- ... 7b/p542022 https://www.amainhobbies.com/jconcepts- ... 4?v=542021 Should I run these tires with foam in them or without foam? And should I glue these tires to the wheels or not? I am jumping them off of a little 6 inch speed bump in a parking lot. With the stock tires I have on my Clod I have no inserts and it jumps well and the tires are not glued to the wheels. What should I do?

  11. Where can I get wheels for these tires that would have hub center offsets? I think thats what they're called. They make the wheels mount wider. The tires are RC4wd B&H tires: https://store.rc4wd.com/BH-Monster-Truck-Clod-Tires_p_740.html Thanks for the help!
  12. So I am buying these tires: http://teamcpe.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=123_136_138&product_id=1907 And these wheels: http://teamcpe.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=123_135&product_id=605 I have a few questions:' #1 Do I want the foam inserts in the tires if I will be jumping a lot? #2 If I put the biggest offset on the hub centers will it put more stress on the axles? Do I have to worry about that? I like to be able to turn while at high speed and not roll my Clod. #3 Since the tires I am buying are a little smaller than the stock tires will that make it so it wont jump as well? #4 Do I need to glue these tires to these wheels? #5 Do I need to drill 2 air holes in each of the wheels? Thanks for your time guys!
  13. Heres what guy on a different forum told me about 2 batteries. What do you guys think about this: You are also going to find making brushless work is a lot of work. You need a 3 or 4 channel radio, unless you plan to use a servo Y-harness to hook both esc's up to channel #2, then you have to get them calibrated the same, and running to separate batteries is a bad idea. You will find that the rear motor/esc will run out a lot sooner than the front due to the rear being under heavier load (weight transfer and all). So that leaves you needing to make a harness to run 2 esc's off of one battery. (that is what most people do)
  14. What do you guys think of 2 of these ESC's and 2 batteries? https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/collections/combo-special/products/ezrun-max10-combo?variant=27757683857
  15. Cool thanks! I was told I would have to program my esc's. Do I run just 1, 2s LiPo on my 2 ESC's? Is it hard to set everything up? Will this combo work front and back? https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/coll...nt=27757683857 And should I go with the 4000kv or the 3300kv? Is this the program card I would need? https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/prod...iant=172030922 Thank you for your help!
  16. So I know a Clod needs a motor with zero timing. Correct? How do I go brushless? Are there brushless motors that have zero timing? What would you recommend? Would this combo work?: https://www.amainhobbies.com/hobbywing-ezrun-max10-sensorless-brushless-esc-3652sl-motor-combo-3300kv-hwa38010203/p713296
  17. So would 2, 17 team brood and a 3s lipo burn up the motors super fast? And would the 880 ESC be able to handle that voltage?
  18. Is this the team brood you mentioned?: https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-brood-monster-truck-machine-wound-540-clod-buster-motor-17t-bro-tbr-monstermotor17t/p1258695
  19. I am actually not going with the Traxxas EVX-2... I heard it goes through motors too fast with that much voltage. Would I be able to use a 3s lipo with a 19 turn motor and the Hobbywing 880 without burning up the 880?
  20. Thats funny you mention 2 batteries and 2 esc's because I was thinking of the 1 esc and 2 motor option with the Traxxas EVX-2... Do you guys think thats a good route?
  21. Would I be better off with one of these over the TA-07? https://traxxas.com/products/models/electric/4-tec-2-vxl-chassis The only thing the build is more fun than driving the car! But which would handle better at 50mph? Also, I will use it on a 1/4 mile track with very smooth asphalt. So I shouldn't ever wreck it!
  22. Wolfdogstinkus: That was amazing! DIdn't know a Clod could do that! 87lc2: What type of 3S LiPo do I need? 100C or more or less? Will it do too many wheelies if I run a 100C?
