  1. My motors are 540 Hobbywing EZrun seen here. Very good quality! https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/products/ezrun-3652sl-g2-motors?variant=27755254929
  2. Do you think the 3300kv motors with the 3s Lipo will be faster than the 4000kv motors with the 2s Lipo?
  3. So I am going to do a whole new Clod. My last Clod has dual Hobbywing Max 10 ESC and 4000kv motors. Its fast but I want faster. Lol I was wondering if I should go with the 5400kv motors or am I pushing this too far. Please help guys. I will have tons of other upgrades as well like a rear lockout, a front bumper that houses a steering servo, upgraded wheels and tires, CPE time warp chassis, CPE steering linkage. Among other things.
  4. Thanks! Love my Time Warp CPE chassis! But, with my 4000kv motors I want it to land better because its going so fast it flips over easily. I like the bouncing too actually but would rather have it not break on me. So the softer springs will compromise jumping? That sucks because I love jumping my Clod off of speed bumps in a parking lot. I had some stiffer shocks on it but haven't run my Clod with these new softer shocks because it keeps snowing and I dont want to get my Clod wet.
  5. Thanks buddy! Just waiting for snow to melt and parking lot to be dry. I am hoping it jumps better on the speed bumps in the parking lot with the new shock positioning. Its brushless with 2, 4000kv motors. Really fast for a Clod!
  6. Heres a picture of my Super Clod Buster... Are the shocks on at a good angle or should they be more up and down? Thanks for your time!
  7. Also selling the brand new tires and wheels out of the same brand new box! $85 shipped for the tires and wheels.
  8. I just opened my Super Clod box up and dont need the 2 motors or ESC. How about 55 bucks shipped inside of the 48 states. Also tires and wheels for sale brand new out of box as well. $85 for tires and wheels.
  9. This is what a guy said about these shock mounts: In the normal orientation of the shock the bottom of the shock pivots front to back which follows the motion of the suspension and allows maximum flexibility. The mounts posted will turn the bottom of the shock 90 degree so that it will pivot left to right. There will still be some front to back pivot but not nearly as much. In certain situations this will introduce bind. Especially if the mounts are coupled with an extended wheelbase which will exacerbate the issue.
  10. What about these shock mounts? Good or bad?: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Clodbuster-axle-brace-single-shock-mount/293807273492?hash=item4468473614:g:gagAAOSwY-NeKw8-
  11. Can anyone help me find 4 shocks for my new Clod I have on the way? I want them to be 100mm or somewhere a little bigger than 100mm.
  12. So should I drill holes in the wheels 90 degrees from the other holes that came with the wheel?
  13. Ok cool thanks! And I want 3 or 4 spots of glue on both sides of the wheels?
  14. Ok so my stock tires are running fine on stock wheels without glue. And I have brushless Hobbywing 4000kv motors on the Clod. Should I try with my Gold Firestorms without glue? Or would partial glue work say 4 different spots around the tires?
  15. I have these tires and wheels going on a rerelease super clod: https://www.amainhobbies.com/jconcepts- ... 7b/p542022 https://www.amainhobbies.com/jconcepts- ... 4?v=542021 Should I run these tires with foam in them or without foam? And should I glue these tires to the wheels or not? I am jumping them off of a little 6 inch speed bump in a parking lot. With the stock tires I have on my Clod I have no inserts and it jumps well and the tires are not glued to the wheels. What should I do?

  17. Where can I get wheels for these tires that would have hub center offsets? I think thats what they're called. They make the wheels mount wider. The tires are RC4wd B&H tires: https://store.rc4wd.com/BH-Monster-Truck-Clod-Tires_p_740.html Thanks for the help!
  18. So I am buying these tires: http://teamcpe.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=123_136_138&product_id=1907 And these wheels: http://teamcpe.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=123_135&product_id=605 I have a few questions:' #1 Do I want the foam inserts in the tires if I will be jumping a lot? #2 If I put the biggest offset on the hub centers will it put more stress on the axles? Do I have to worry about that? I like to be able to turn while at high speed and not roll my Clod. #3 Since the tires I am buying are a little smaller than the stock tires will that make it so it wont jump as well? #4 Do I need to glue these tires to these wheels? #5 Do I need to drill 2 air holes in each of the wheels? Thanks for your time guys!
  19. Heres what guy on a different forum told me about 2 batteries. What do you guys think about this: You are also going to find making brushless work is a lot of work. You need a 3 or 4 channel radio, unless you plan to use a servo Y-harness to hook both esc's up to channel #2, then you have to get them calibrated the same, and running to separate batteries is a bad idea. You will find that the rear motor/esc will run out a lot sooner than the front due to the rear being under heavier load (weight transfer and all). So that leaves you needing to make a harness to run 2 esc's off of one battery. (that is what most people do)
