  1. If anyone knows how to move my posts today, to the sales section please do so. I can’t seem to find a way to move them. Not really techie enough!!!
  2. Hi, Due to fighting a losing battle with arthritis and only having one usable hand, I have decided to sell all my Tamiya related modelling bits and pieces. I have taken photo’s of the various items I have for sale. At £600 this is well below the individual prices of all the items individually. The items will have to be collected as some are quite fragile. The price is for all the items together. If after a suitable length of time there are no takers, I will consider offers for individual items. I suppose having managed to reach my 80’s the ravages of time have caught up on me. Thanks for looking.
  3. Newbie Members 44 77 posts Location:Hull East Yorkshire Report post Posted 9 hours ago I have source a supplier for waterslide decals for the above model. They can do a minimum run of 50 sheets. They will cost £400, so £8 a sheet. Would anyone be interested in a sheet? Please e-mail me at. bill@worsley.karoo.co.uk I have a few days to reply. Would anyone know of a better page to display this request?? Thanks Bill Worsley Heliwilly

  5. Well, it seems that after about a year on and off the Africa Twin is completed. There are things I would have done different order but overall I am very happy. I am really glad that I did the metal spoked wheels. Plus another two Hondas.
  6. I managed to get the Microscale Set and Sol from Wonderland Models in Edinburgh. Arrived in 2 days. Excellent customer Service and the products were very well packed. They both seem to have worked very well indeed, eliminating problems with double curves decals draped very well with the micro-sol. Bill W.
  7. Hi Mokei Kagaku, Thanks for the reply. Like you I couldn’t find any definitive information about identifying any dating of the 16003 kits. I was just curious, but it isn’t anything of anycon ern. Thanks for looking. Bill W
  8. Hi Mokei Kagaku, I now have a second Tamiya Honda CB 750 Racing Type box number 16003. You say that means it was manufactured after 1987. When was this model kit manufacture ended. Is there anyway of finding out when this kit was manufactured. Thanks Bill W.
  9. As you say, the Tamiya decals are fairly thick. I will see how it reacts to one coat and take it from there. Thanks Bill.
  10. Just ordered Mr Mark Softner. Fingers crossed. Bill W.
  11. Hi alvinlwh, I used the Mr Mark Setter on the fairing numbers of a Tamiya Honda CB750 racing type motorcycle. The flatter surface side numbers went on OK. The number on the nose of the fairing is made in 2 halves as the nose is a complete double curve. These went on OK but would not conform to the shape of the nose. I have left it for now but would like advice on what strength of tamiya, strong or super strong to use to get it to drape over the nose of the fairing. Any other advice gratefully received. Bill W.
  12. I have almost finished the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin. I have done the A paint scheme. I would also like to do the B paint scheme. Does anyone have an unopened CRF1000L Africa Twin kit they would like to swap for the CB750 Racing Type I have that is unused. I replaced the decal set with a new set from RC Decals. Thanks Bill W.
  13. Hi All, Change of plan. I was going to build a New Old Stock Honda CB750 Racing Type, as I had already built one, and enjoyed it, so I bought this new old stock one. Since then I have decided that I would rather build another Africa Twin in the alternative paint scheme. If anyone has an unopened Africa Twin and would like to swap. I would be interested. Rather than buy another kit I would like to swap it. With the CB750 Racing Type, because I had problems with the decals on the one I built, I got RC Decals to make me another set. Thanks Bill W. PS Just looking on Fleabay, and there are none available in the UK. I will leave it on here for 7 days. If no swaps, it will go on Fleabay. Cheers Bill W. Now posted on Fleabay. Bill W.
  14. I will see how things go with the setter and take it from there. Thanks for all the info. Bill W.
