  1. Hi everyone. First post here. So lockdown seems to have bought me back to the RC world, as it appears to have done for quite a few! I already had a couple of 20+ year old Tamiyas - a TA-02 Escort Cosworth and a FF-01 Honda Civic, both runners that come out every once in a while, especially as my youngest son has his own RC (a RTR Ripmax Husky that he loves). Having decided that the two older cars were a bit fragile I started to look at options for adding a new model to my collection. After a fair bit of research I decided on a TT-02SR which I added a few additional hop-ups to. Whilst it is great and really flies its been a bit hard to find a good space to get the best out of it during lockdown. We started taking my son and his Husky to the local woods on our walks and found some nice jumps that the local teen bikers have built which he can't get enough of. I decided that perhaps a second new addition so that I could join him would be the order of the day. After a bit of a look I found the Neo Fighter on Tamico for what seemed like a bargain and a few days later it arrived. I'd already decided on an orange and black colour scheme for the touring car shell I bought for the TT-02 so wanted to go with the same scheme for the buggy - plus, as I hadn't sprayed the touring car shell yet I thought it would be good practice. I was slightly concerned that it wouldn't work with the decals but I had already bought the paint by then. I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out. Its by no means perfect but I like it. Just need some recommendations for some black wheels now!
