I would just get myself a nice Repo shell... I figured It cost me more time and effort and dont forget money to strip and re-paint when I could have just bougt a nice repo shell and painted it up. id="quote">id="quote">

  4. got the o rings on order i will let you know if they work, thanks for the tip. quote:Originally posted by irenLget yourself several of the red damper O-rings and slip them over the balljoint. they'll act as bushing to tighten up the slop and still soft enough to deform when the suspension compreses. id="quote">id="quote">
  5. Has anyone noticed or is it just me that there seems to be alot of excess play in rod ends which causes alot of free play in the steering. If you have any info which you think you will help please let me know.[]

  8. All the bearings are listed in the manual if you have one, once you have a complete list order them from walawala on ebay, i ordered a complete set for my TA03F-S and they worked out really cheap. I was paying £1.75 per bearing at my local shop and the same one from walawala cost me $0.30. Hope this helps[]

  10. Get TRF415 that will wipe the smile of there faces and put there best to the test, i changed my Lsi XXXGP for one and it is fantastic. there quote:Originally posted by ChrisBI have been looking around at RC car clubs with tracks local-ish to me (SE London) with a view to getting somewhere with a decent track where I can have some fun driving my on road Tamiyas.... Having checked out the forums for those clubs with websites, I have been really surprised by the number of regulars on these forums actively advising people against Tamiya kits, even as beginners [8)] This really puts me off joining most of the clubs, not to mention the fact that nearly all 1/10 electric racing seems to be 4WD saloon racing...... OK if you like that sort of thing I guess. I would love to be able to get access to a track to have a bit of fun racing against other RWD / FWD stock Tamiya's, just for a bit of fun. I'm dying to take my Alfa GTA on track as I think the RWD handling will be a real challenge and fun to learn to control. I am also about to build a TB-01 Lancer Evo and a TL-01 Impreza. It would be great to be able to take these to a smooth dirt track for some rally action..... but sadly nobody seems to cater for this kind of fun racing local to me. I can see why people like to win and be competitive, but it seems a lot of the RC clubs are aimed mainly at the "serious" racer. IMHO this is a real shame as I am sure there are many out there like me that just want a bit of fun and a decent track / circuit venue to drive with other like minded individuals. Does anyone have any recommendations for clubs around the London / Kent area that are Tamiya friendly and have an outdoor circuit? Cheers, Chris id="quote">id="quote">

  15. Hi Mervyn, Thanks for the info i have sent rcboyz a mail and i'm just waiting for a reply.[] quote:Originally posted by MervynBigvern, I don't have any bearings to suit your needs but I do have a very good bearing connection. Ebay seller rcboyz has every bearing known to mankind and they are generally between $1 and maybe $1.25 shipped. The local hobby shop here where I live charges between $5/$7 per bearing so I figure this is a pretty nice connection to have [8D] id="quote">id="quote">
