I spent a bit of time cleaning connections on the 959 Porsche and it runs !!!! Original Futaba servos are still strong. Magnum sport FP-T2PB radio needs some love ( and a spring replacement / battery cover maybe ) but I’m pretty happy to have gone for a rip around the garage. Mechanical speed controllers.... weird for a guy that has to plug his speed controllers in to a computer to update .....just got to lay hands on an old Atari Master system and my voyage back in time will be complete lol.

I’ll even throw in a vintage Sanyo sport pack NI-Cd.... can’t believe these things still take a charge. 😂😂

Howdy from Canada ! I’m a racer primarily, of contemporary vehicles but stumbled on a deal. First gen traxxas rustler ( to build up for my son ) an original Kyosho Big Boss ( runs ) and the most surprising was an Tamyia 58059 959 Porsche Rally complete and original with the exception of the “drivers”. Now I need to figure out what to do with it. I thought this club would be a good place to start. Any suggestions ?? cheers 🍻
