  1. I have used the standard B2 buggy front and rear rims (2.2/2.15) on both my original 6 gear gold tub RC10 and also on my RC10 Graphite. I swap these rims on and off between the original rims with no problems. The original front rims take a small flanged bearing (3/16" x 5/16")and the newer style take a standard bearing (SAE size for both not metric). The rear rims fit the axle fine and the roll pin fits right in the slot. I have the standard small CV axles in both cars and my other one has the standard kit axles (dogbones). No extra adapters are needed. I can send pictures of the car with them on if you need to see.
  2. There are two different sized bearings for the front axles depending on which setup you have, Tower lists both and which cars they fit, one has a flange and one dosen't.
  3. Tower Hobbies has wheels for the B2 buggy that fit, I have used them on my graphite and original gold tub RC10 buggies. Associated still sells many parts for the older buggies you may even be able to buy direct.
  4. Sorry to hear you are so far away, thanks for the info. My brother has some friends in the area, they are more into planes but everything is fun. Found a local hobby shop nearby and sitting on the shelf behind the counter was a Newman Porsche 956, when asked they said it was built by a man who never runs them and was for sale for $35, snapped it up right away and made some new friends at the hobby store. If you are ever in the area let me know would like to meet. Gary
  5. Just moved to Plano and was wondering if anybody is around here and if there are any good spots to run. Thanks for any info.
  6. I don't know if its doing it any good but I have two R2GS receivers that have been hooked up this way for a few years and still seem to be working just fine. I have only been using 7.2v batteries no 8.4v as that would for sure fry it.
  7. Shells look almost identical, but all reference to Ford has been removed from the Super Blackfoot shell, and the grill is slightly different. Otherwise they come from the same mold and are identical.
  8. As much as I love my tamiyas, I have an HPI RS4 rally (Lancer Evo). Fast as badword, indestructable (so far), runs great on gravel baseball diamonds, cinder horse track, and really short grass (golf course). Love the long powerslides with gravel shooting everywhere.
  9. Thanks but I just ordered a set from tamiya USA, got lucky with my Stadium Blitzer and bought the last set for that one. Might be just so lucky with this one too.
  10. Your rear rims are considered 1.6" and any tire to fit this rim will work. Many vintage tires from Proline, CRP and others will fit and come up on Ebay all the time for reasonble prices. Tower Hobbies still lists a waffle tread (on-off road) Proline tire that is for 1.6" rims. Good Luck. I have a few old RC-10s mixed in with my collection.
  11. Have a new built stadium thunder I would like to finish but the decals are missing. Are they still available anywhere? Thank You
  12. I there a possibility it could have been a BigWig, same general colors (blue and white) and general layout but with factory dual front shocks.
  13. Trenton, NJ
  14. Body you describe is for the Super Blackfoot, all references to Ford were removed from the body.
  15. For some reason Pro-Line still stocks them and I've seen them in a few LHS, have a set on my Hornet.
