  1. I also did some work on my DB01 today like @Elbowloh A while ago I discovered that the front and rear gear diffs had leaked and I started cleaning things up. Also wanted to change the spur and pinion and then discovered that the central shaft of the double slipper clutch was bent Not sure how this happened... Barely ran this car. Luckily I had a spare. But then I spent a good 2 hours rebuilding the slipper and researching how to get the spur wobble-free... I found this post from 2013, but still: what a PITA. If someone found a better way to get the spur on a double slipper clutch wobble-free over the past 12 years, I'm all ears
  2. Maybe this amazing thread can provide some insight as to why some dampers work on the DB01 and others don't ?
  3. My DB01RR has the kit big bore aeration dampers and kit towers and the chassis also bottoms out and both ends. Built according to the manual.
  4. So nice to see the DB01 still being built in 2024! I built mine a couple of years ago. Was lucky enough to be able to pick up a NIB DB01RR. The 19338087 chassis plate looks to be the same material as the DB01RR chassis plate but the markings in the plastic are slightly different. They are both PA GF (glass filled polyamide?) but the 2 dials are a bit different. Not sure what they mean though I'll try to post pictures. I read on here somewhere that people just file/dremel the ribs away so they can fit square packs. And about the Baldre body: Kamtec in the UK make a very nice repro
