I can’t flick the tx into reverse as it’s an old system.....

Hi all, ive got a Falcon that I’ve fitted with a brushless motor..... the first problem was that the directional control was wrong - forwards made it go backwards and vice verce. I swapped the coloured wires around and this fixed the problem - but I still have more drive in reverse than going forwards. Anyone any ideas?

Hi all, after the remarkably successful brushless conversion of the midnight pumpkin QD, I’ve decided to go brushless with the falcon too. im hoping that there is a motor/esc kit that will drop straight in where I don’t need to change anything else on the car.... any suggestions? thanking you

Yes, kept the two speed gear box - used a 2430 7200kv motor and a 2s Lipo battery 👍🏻

Yep cracking fun - the boy was delighted with it too!! Yeah I’ll have to down load the speedometer app for next time 👍🏻

Hi!! so I’m finally having a go at this! I have just purchased the servo, radio gear, battery and the motor/esc combo. What does a servo saver do in broad terms and what do I need the M3 rod for? i realise I sound a bit of a numpty - this is largely because I am so I appreciate your help! 😂 cheers matt

Hi all, I recently decided to get my old Maplin wildcat (traxxas cat) up and running now that my son is of an age where he’s interested. However, we managed to hit a kerb at high speed and smash the thing to smithereens. what I decided to do was find an old chassis of a car not working and rebuild using some of the salvageable bits and some new. So I got hold of an old falcon on eBay and set about rebuilding. I decided to use an esc and was able to use the 540 motor And radio gear from my old car. A new steering servo and some steering rods and I was in business...... however...... ive now got an issue that when I use the radio control I push it forward and it will move for 2 seconds, stop for two seconds, move for two seconds, stop for two seconds and so on. Can someone please let me know what they think this could be - would be great to have her fixed and working properly. many thanks matt

Hi all, im looking to sell or swap a Tamiya midnight pumpkin QD. It is working although it seems a bit slow so might benefit from a new motor? i have the original box (if a little moth eaten) and all radio gear is working (red band 2). ideally I’m looking for a standard hobby grade pumpkin/ lunchbox/ monster beetle but all offers considered for both buy or swap. many thanks

Hi all, im rebuilding an old falcon that I purchased on eBay. I have everything I need except a steering servo and steering rods - where do you all go for spare parts? Nothing doing re the steering rods on eBay...... cheers
