  1. BTW - I just only now realize that I've made a newbie mistake and posted this in the wrong forum, I think I should've posted this in the Anything Electric forum page. I will not object if this thread gets moved.

  3. I was also looking for a stick transmitter. I could only find the Futaba 4GRS. It is a really nice lookin unit, but was $359.99 US... which was more than my car cost. I have yet to install it, but I am looking forward to trying it out. I believe that it is the only 2 stick radio for surface use on the market right now.
  4. Wow! Tons of input and great advice! Thanks, guys! So, I have a TBLE-02S without a fan. I have a 8.4v NiMH battery. What would be the ideal motor, within a budget? Also, can anyone recommend a fan for that ESC?
  5. Thank you all so much for all your input. Tons of great info. I truly appreciate it. I ended up ordering a set of brushes and springs off of Amazon. see here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SOU3QUO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are pretty similar looking to what I had on the motor and the kit was about $12 bucks. Thanks for the offer Catman79... I appreciate it.
  6. I also did a google search and I also got a lot of results— only the results that I got all had different spring tensions. Any idea what tension spring a GT tuned Tamiya motor uses? Should I just get a new motor and not play around with guessing?
  7. Just like the title says, Tamiya motor brushes and springs, Where to get? I have a Tamiya GT tuned motor brand new, and upon its first use, one of the springs that retains a motor brush got snagged on something and was lost. I can't be the only person that this has happened to. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement? Thanks
  8. Just like the title says, the Brushless Tamiya tblm-01S motor, is it worth it? I have the TBLE-02S Electronic speed controller in my Terra Scorcher Re-Re, and that can run run brushless setups. Is the Brushless motor that much faster?
