  1. Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone can custom make decals or point me in the direction of someone that can? I'm looking for the ones below to be reproduced, they can be posted to the right person if they need these to be able to reproduce some for me (can't find them anywhere). Or if anyone has any (on the very slim chance).

  2. Evening all,

If possible, I'd like some expertise on the quickest/best motor I can put into my TT-02 as it is currently, I want to avoid using LiPo batteries due to the safety aspect and maintenance/charging requirements. The car will be used mainly on tarmac/road terrains with occasional use on grass/gravel.

I've listed below the set up I currently have as I hope this helps:

    Currently using a Standard RS-540SH

    Absima 1:10 ESC (7.2V NiMH/2S LiPo)

Carson Reflex Pro 3 Twin Stick 2.4ghz Controller with Servo

Alturn USA High Performance Race Servo AAS-752MG

    Hop-Ups:

    54500 - High Speed Gear Set 68T

    54501 - Aluminum Propeller Shaft

    54502 - Aluminum Propeller Joint

    54753 - CVA Super-Mini Shock Set

    Carson Tuning Roller Bearing Set

    Thanks in advance!

Maybe a buggy like the DF-03 with short arms might work.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

If they are definitely 270mm centre to centre then they probably had a special chassis, I would build one if it was mine. You may be able to convert a touring car chassis as I'm pretty sure you can buy a touring car shell that is 270mm wheelbase.

I think I might have to, thanks 👍

That's a tricky one. Most touring car chassis are 257mm wheelbase or thereabouts. You might need to do some mods...

I might take the shell down to the local hobby store and see if they have any suggestions (will update this thread afterwards), I thought it was a little long for the TT01 chassis. Thanks for the help.

  5. Good evening all,

I'm a new forum member so easy does it! :P

I've become the proud owner of the two shells in the photos below, from what I can gauge from a few sources and a post in here from 2008 I believe these are two of the shells made which were pre-coloured and decaled. I got these at an exceptional price and I'm looking to convert each of them to look like my car for personal enjoyment of the hobby, but also to take them to car shows etc as a party trick!

    Two questions:

1st Question: How would I find out what chassis I need (I believe they are either designed for the TT01 or M03), can anyone help!

2nd Question: As the shells are pre-coloured not clear plastic and then painted, I'm struggling to find someone who will be able to paint them for me (they won't be bumped and crashed into things and will likely be shelf queens most of the time) - does anyone have any suggestions/contacts they're willing to share, unfortunately I would love to paint them myself but painting is not a skill of mine at the best of times.

Does anyone else have any of these shells? I'm always looking to add more to the collection!

    Cheers in advance.
