  1. I’ve been search for a tire with some tread that I can put in my Honda city turbo. I’m trying these rally blocks on my TT02 rims. I wonder if these will work? im not thrilled with how narrow they are. I’m open to any suggestions
  2. Funny. I’m having front gear box issues with my boomerang. Out of all 6 cars I retained from the 80’s that’s the only one with gearbox issues. I found my culprit. And I may have extra parts for you. I’m going to try and tackle me issues tonight now I just got the last parts I was waiting on from the UK in todays mail. I’ll post up more later to see if it’s any help.
  3. It’s nice. I’d love to get my hands on one again. Back in 88 had had two of them. One was NIB until my friend told me about “this new thing called eBay” back in 2000. Sadly I don’t even know what I did with the one I built and ran. But I will live thru you for now with your Avante!
  4. Any luck trying this option? I need something to help keep the snow out of my TT02. Also I’m not running a cockpit and I wouldn’t mind a place to put a driver
  5. I know. I’m looking at the book and it looks like a bearings. I’m so embarrassed I have to go run another car.
  6. Mystery solved. E2 is NOT a bearing. I got a picture of the tree from someone and it appears to be a pin
  7. Looking at the parts diagram. E2 is a bearing. The 5x28 is definitely in there and so is the bearing. What is that other part it’s showing me? It’s not on the left hand side (or top of the below pic)so I must not exist. This should sort it out but I’m curious to know how this happened. It doesn’t seem like the gear on the left is held in place to the case on the one side where there was failure. Any insight that can be provided would be appreciated thanks Tamiya club
  8. My little used car doesn’t run correctly. It’s not the rear. And upon closer inspection the front looks like case is pushed out in a bad way upon closer inspection the case is F**Ked.
  9. Sorry. I haven’t been following all the pages on this topic. Bud what is the deal. Is this going to auction in bulk or piece by each? It is still on for March 26? And is that original post the vehicle for bidding?
  10. the Bmx museum forum that I’m also on is similar. We are all getting old! but like Bmx. RC will never die!!
  11. I woke up to a few inches of snow. So you know what that means !! and the boomerang Even saw some actions today!
  12. I just wanted everyone to know I’m still enjoying my TT02 it’s not everyday that I get to run the rally car in the snow. You need some rain on top and then freezing temps. Then it’s perfect for RC action
  13. Looks perfect. Just cut down those body mounts and you are done !!
  14. And of course no replacement bodies are available as far as I can see. I wonder what mother options we have. Wild willys 2 maybe?
  15. Yeah. Pre painted. I just looked at it again and it broke while looking at it. Now I need to order more shoe goo
  16. Really? I have cars from 1982-1987 that have better condition bodies than my GF01 this is an example of every time i take it out. This is about the 16th repair I’ve had to do. Almost The entire body is being held together with shoe goo and I’ve only been running the car for two weeks. However I am not having this issue with my TT02. must be the body geometry
