Hello everyone.
After careful consideration I have decided to sell my 1990s Tamiya Avante Mk 1 (58072, Vintage) which I have owned since new: my kids are not interested and I now prefer on-road.
About the car:
- in full working order
- completely stock, no mods of any kind
- never raced, this car hasn't seen much use (basically no scuffs and no scratches on the original front bumper and on the original bottom shell - click the link below for photos)
- chassis is perfect, body shell shows some wear - mostly the rear wing: original paint started flaking off and there are small cracks - but still in very good shape for a nearly 30 years old car. All decals are present except the famous "Being nuts is NEAT!" one on the rear wing which, if memory serves me well, I don't think I ever applied
- 2 sets of original Tamiya Pin-Spike Wide tires, both from the 1990s, not the re-issued ones (one set is almost slick now out but rims are ok, the other one is basically new: supple rubber, no cracks)
- a few original Tamiya spare parts that came with the car when I bought it and built it back in, If I well remember, 1993
- genuine Tamiya Dynatech 01R Motor (53001) with original instructions (installed since new, this was an expensive upgrade to the RX-540VZ Technigold Motor)
- original Tamiya aluminium shocks
- original servo
- original instruction manual
No original box, sorry.
Only the transmitter (Skyjon Mod-3, 2.4Ghz, 3 channel), the receiver and the ESC are not stock and period correct.
