  1. Hey trying to find an aluminum servo horn for my Sand Viper that needs to still be low profile to clear the front bulkhead brace. Will Tamiya part # 54159 work? Thanks!
  2. Not that I've been able to find. There aren't very many hop ups for this car from what I gather.
  3. So weather has been nicer and got an itch to run my VQS and Sand Viper today. Broke the front shock tower on the VQS after a couple of rolls. The Sand Viper is definitely more rugged than the VQS. It runs brushless fine and jumps like a champ. Ordered the adjustable tie rod kit and some 3Racing shocks for it. Might actually start tracking it at our local carpet track. The VQS looks cool but seems to be made of glass. Already replaced the chassis and rear shock tower. It couldn't handle brushless very well either. I might just make it a shelf queen just sucks cause I like to run all my cars.
  4. Pretty much. Have to modify the bumper holder to fit. Lotta guys on the FB group are doing it and looks pretty legit.
  5. Did the bumper mod on my TT02B. Waiting on UJs and a Neo Scorcher body from overseas.
  6. Yeah I think I'll pull the trigger for this then. I can get a rear brace for it if that helps. Just something to run at my local carpet track. Not gonna get crazy and dump a grip of $$$ into it like my TT02 cars. Thanks for the input guys!
  7. Wanted to step up a level with a belt drive car and was looking at the TA08pro for carpet racing as seemed like a good value car to start with, but after doing some searching it seems like it has a fragile rear end that's prone to break often?
  8. This has been a very cool thread to read.
  9. Just finished my Tyrell P34. Think it came out pretty nice.
  10. TT02 chassis with a Hobbywing 3652 4000kv and EZrun esc. 64/27 gears. Stock TT02R tires. 3s 7100mah lipo.
  11. 63.1 mph. Was getting pretty dark and couldn't see very well far down the road and biffed it into a curb at the end. Popped off the lower A-arm but no worries I have a grip of spares. Now to go for 70!
  12. Took out the new build for a quick run. Had some TX issues with a new Sanwa but was able to put down 42.7mph.
  13. So I just set up a Sanwa MX6 and first thing that was wrong was the steering was reversed. Had to change the setting on the receiver from normal to reverse for it to turn correctly. Also, the connection would cut out about 100 yrds out. Would lose all signal then it would come back and have control again. Are these transmitters bad news or what?
