Go to fan RC and get one of these new graphite worlds car. It's actually a rere team car but for legal reasons they likely have to call it a graphite worlds as there is no such thing from AE. Stinks some of you missed out on the gold but there's still tons that you can do to scratch the itch. Heck, get the fan rc10 graphite, pick up a 40th chassis and you can make a 40th CE that AE hasn't done yet etc. A little more but you will still end up with a super cool rc10.

Well calling this one done....for now. In the future Ill add Sgt's gear box for the fitting of the 201 internals. Im just running a stock brushless set up, although Im betting itd hold up just fine. Misplaced the darn gear box cover among all the stuff!!! LOL. Now with TRF Pin wheels Front View showing off that nice short tower and Big Bores With the body on and off you can see where Tamiya got alot of their idea sitting next to the team car I just finished. windows screenshot program Whats next, a replica body and then some track outings to compare it to the Team Car its next to, and probably Sgts trans case with 201 internals. LIkely in Winter of 24/25.

That JJ body is gorgeous! That's the best view of it I've scene yet. I'll be doing up a JCconcepts Worlds Detonator to that livery for my 40th.

Thanks for the tips. I haven't built a six gear RC10 yet. That's the only reason I chose the 40th over fan RCs graphite worlds car.

There's a very few items to get to make it bullet proof. Jazy rider makes metal front and rear hubs, and the reas suspension mounts. Blitzer beetles rear suspension mounts and hubs work too. You can also get the front suspension mount in metal as well. The rere super astute parts are still on eBay and can be used too. Lastly the diff. I guarantee 1/10 of the people that comment on the diff had one. I ran a Joel Johnson modified in mine for a decade, no slipping. If it's not slipping now it won't unless you put a hot brushless in it. The king cab had issues due to it's bigger wheels but even that is over exaggerated.

My son has a DB01 and races with me when I bring the 511. I still place with the 511 in stock class. The DB01 keeps up with me. Someone brought a TD4 to the track. He had the same motor and esc as my 511. He was 1.5 sec slower then me, I took it for a spin and could only get with in 2 sec. TD4 isn't a race buggy, the DB01 is, and in club events the DB01 is still competitive.

It's competent for sure, and no one's intent is to poo poo anyones choices. That said against the DB01 which is based on the highly successful 501 the TD4 with equal equipment and drivers would lose to a DB01.

TD4 is a classic Tamiya buggy, a little wierd, cool to look at , and fun for the backyard. The ONLY thing the TDs have on the DB01 is that the spare parts and hop ups are currently available. To RCkicks credit the DB01 is a great car but its part support is now $$$$$

Hahaha fair, I've just witnessed across numerous business lines what happens when customers complain. Example, what's the last previously completely unreleased rere?? The Super Astute, 50 percent of the people on here complained about, said it was a week release, was a disappointment and etc. Since then what have we got??? Releases based on previous releases. There have been no new rere since the Super A. Tamiya is for sure in here, I bet they are paying attention. Why would they try anything new again? Same for AE, they got burned in the Words, they finally come back with the CC first and that was a huge nightmare, the 40th either people are mad that they made too many or not enough. Not to mention I'm a horrible driver, I bash the heck out the team car I rebuilt using 30 year old parts, I haven't broken anything yet. The spares are out there if some how you break something.

Th Equal Drivers the DB01 owns the TD. The DB01 is an entry level race buggy. The TDs front suspension geometry let's it down Immensely as well as it's complicated and Inefficient drive train.

Everyone is complaining about the limited availability. Let's look at history. We limited the number of CCs and 40ths. All sold no stock on hand to lose money on. AE famously lost their shirt on the worlds car which they made tons of. As far as part supplies. Meh, Fan RC makes all the parts for the RC10 gen 1 vehicles. Heck they are now making a RC10 Graphite team car for 379, which they call the world's graphite likely for copy right reasons.

Ok guys start showing non box art bodies, I need some ideas.
