@Frankster...what body is that silver Honda body? Is that a Supra? It looks absolutely spectacular!

I love this charger...charges two batteries at once...can handle LiPo up to 6s I believe, although I dont' run anything above 3s... I've had it for about a year or so. Best charger I've owned. Used to have a Venom dual power that died.

The only car I have with an exposed differential like that is a Falcon, which is very different and would need half of the plastic housing to be clear... I just thought it was very cool looking and something I've never seen before.
-
I love the clear differential cap on this...I've never had a Super Astute so I have to ask...does that come as part of the kit, or is that an aftermarket part?

That front right wheel on the MadVan looks dislocated on the landing, @nowinaminute... I agree with the rest...great action shot though!!

The car I have the Radon2 in is an original 1986 Falcon. It's brittle, so I don't do much off-roading with it anymore, mostly street running. Thus, minimal dirt, etc. to clean. I replace the brushes every 5-6 times I take it out like a normal brushed motor would be. Aside from that, I really haven't taken it apart to rebuild it yet, although I do know that it is designed to be fully serviceable. I've had it maybe two years, replaced brushes maybe 5 times or so. Full disclosure...although I have run it on 3s fairly often, most of my running on it is 2s, so it's probably not as much wear as it would be if it were constantly run on only 3s. I just fear losing control of the car and slamming it into a concrete curb and shattering the 1986 vintage ABS...

Since no words are allowed in the RC Gallery thread... I just wanted to make a quick comment to just about everyone who posted in that thread. I am in absolute AWE of how realistic and detailed your cars are. Lord knows I could never find the patience to do the job that you do! I'd call people out by name, but there's just too many. So darn impressive! It simply amazes me that some of those photos are of RC cars... I wish I could do half the job that you guys do! I'm just too excited to get the build completed and take the car out for a run!!! If anyone wants to comment on any of the cars in that thread, I guess posts in here would be as good a place as any since we all get notifications once someone reacts to our posts. Thank you all for wonderful examples of how realistic these RC cars can get! it's definitely given me something to strive for, although admittedly I have a tremendously long way to go!

Thanks for the tip, Ziddan. At first, inside my house, I walked around the car fully powered on...minimal glitching. However, when I took the car down the street (where the video glitches), then I saw some major glitching. I hope the RHCP antennae that I ordered can eliminate some of the interference...still waiting for them to arrive.
-
Still trying to figure out why all of the glitching, but I just ordered a few 8dBi gain antennas to replace the existing ones on the transmitter and receiver. Hopefully this will help overcome the interference. They should arrive mid to late this week. This glitching is very frustrating...I get glitching literally on every channel and frequency. The UBEC states that it is low interference, so that should not be the problem. I'm wondering about the motor and ESC though. If anyone has ideas on how I might be able to get a more stable picture feed, I'm all ears...and thank you in advance!

Venom batteries come with XT60 connectors as well as adapters for Traxxas, Deans, and EC3. They are slightly more expensive, but from my experience last longer and are better quality than most of the other made in China batteries available. https://www.ebay.com/itm/401016091311?epid=1605571075&hash=item5d5e6bf2af:g:zloAAOSwHrldn9~- If you need a Tamiya adapter, you can get that too: https://www.ebay.com/itm/330973696841?hash=item4d0f91d349:g:DpUAAOxyPc5R-Cx1

Another option that I've used a few times on a chassis...JB Weld Steel Reinforced Epoxy. I didn't see anyone mention it here. https://www.amazon.com/J-B-Weld-8281-Professional-Reinforced/dp/B014OVHAOY/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=3R9ZDKZ09HRL4&keywords=jb%2Bweld%2Bplastic%2Bbonder&qid=1655939577&sprefix=jb%2Bweld%2Caps%2C308&sr=8-2-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFVNTNGMkRYNVI3TjQmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAyMDkyMjEyMTU5TEkyV0ZPTFJYJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAxNDQ5NDhZSFgzVlI3MFJVNzMmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl&th=1

Vid00003.mp4 This is the first run. It's pretty glitchy on the video, so I may need to play around with the 5.8Ghz channels to get something much clearer. I have to admit...it's a ton of fun driving with the headset on!!!

So, after getting a few pieces of this puzzle at a time and spreading over several paychecks, I think I have everything that I need. Hopefully I'll be able to assemble over the next few days and post my first video. I'll post some pics of the setup as well.
