The clear lenses snap into the buckets. I have not driven my buggy hard yet, but they feel firmly in place.

Congrats on the great build and thanks for sharing it. I particularly like the custom color scheme. Where did you source the orange graphics? After two years I finally finished my Turbo Scorpion last weekend (that's actually fairly quick for me). It was my first Kyosho and I very much enjoy the retro builds so it's time to open the Sand Scorcher next!
