One of the easy things to overlook is the cut facet of the motor shaft.

One side of the motor shaft is shaved flat.  The grub screw of the pinion gear should be seated on that flat spot.

When the grub screw is not where it should be, the pinion is only loosely attached. You can drive it slowly, but it won't go much. And it would make noises as the motor axle turns inside of the hole of the pinion gear.

Thanks Jugglar. Ill check. As soon as you  touch any one of the 4 wheels they stop dead in your hands. I wonder if my battery is junk. It was charged up but that doesnt mean anything

If you have a slipper clutch, it's the slipper clutch. You need to tighten down the nut.

If you do not have a slipper clutch, you may have a loose pinion (grub screw loose), or a loose gear in your front gearbox. Make sure you put cross-pins in the gears that require it according to the manual.

If not the above, you may have one or more missing pins around where your wheel hexes mount?

Just throwing a few ideas out there... but it's most definitely not the belt. The front wheels alone should be able to take up to a decent pace even if the belt wasn't there at all.

I dont have a slipper clutch actually on this model. gonna have to keep searching. Thanks!
