  1. and the front they are still friction shocks
  2. yes, I should properly just update everything or at least a esc and maybe some new damper oil filled shocks my current ones seem to leak
  3. The MSC connects good but after I run it full throttle a couple times it gets stuck and won't respond to my transmitter and goes a bit haywire but the front wheels still work so I'm assuming my Receiver works I put fresh batteries in both the car and remote same thing happens.
  4. I wonder why the super hotshot is more expensive than the models you listed I could buy two for the price of one.
  5. I hear you I live out in the woods so most of it would be off road but I would still like to go to the city and race for real I will start researching thank you!
  6. It caught my eye when I was scrolling. It is a bit pricey but I figured it's a more recent car (2012) so I would have a better chance at winning more races if I am a bit more up to date.
  7. Thank you for all the advice I cleaned the contacts, moved the connecting rod and put a screw in the servo and It works!!
  8. Yes it is definitely more enjoyable now that I got all my contacts cleaned. I was thinking that I would learn on the Hornet and when I get better Ill get a Super Hotshot
  9. I am new to this, where are the contacts and how would you recommend cleaning them?
  10. okay so it is just a battery issue, I am using a beat up Nikko Ultra Racing 7.2 1200mAh Ni-Cd battery
  11. I have a Tamiya Hornet and am having a problem with power being cut off to the tires when I put it to max acceleration I have to jiggle the stick a bit then it goes top speed but my reverse works just fine.
