  1. It will be charged when you wake up. Those chargers are called "over night charger".
  2. Wait till you see how long their surface mail takes!
  3. No, actually I use YR one that came with a bearing set. But OP always use Tamiya only so I specifically seek out a picture of Tamiya one.
  4. I think you can. Set it to 1500 and that should be the centre.
  5. As in reprogram a servo? No, you will need a programmable servo for that I believe.
  6. It works well enough for me. YMMY I suppose. For around £20, it is a handy thing to have given it is also a RX and servo tester.
  7. It claims USB C out at up to 20W so I will say no. At least it will not charge my Lenovo works laptop which is quite fussy and needs at least 35W to charge.
  8. Cannot comment on your charging issues but what I find with discharging slow too, due to the small discharge current most chargers provide. Proper dischargers are the same size as chargers and can drain at a much higher current I assume. What I do is get a discharger with USB output and discharge the RC lipo into my phone lipo (or whatever uses USB) instead. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EzjGhOJ
  9. I use a Team Orion 2700kv one in my HS2, feels just right for a Tamiya, especially an older one. They are not "small", more like 550 size. You need to check to make sure they will fit in your chassis.
  10. That is a MSC not ESC you have there.
  11. That is to power the radio and the servos for steering and MSC. It goes into the BATT input on the receiver which sends power to the servos.
  12. I was just explaining to gkatz that made the AliExpress suggestion that you do not do AliExpress but only what is available at your LHS. That's all.
  13. Yes for closed gearboxes, no for open ones.
  14. Problem is OP does not touch AliExpress but only uses Tamiya from the LHS.
  15. If they rereing the Avante Mk.II, I will be interested. I eyed the Dark Impact a few times but it just don't really appeal to me.
  16. That is exactly what I did. Built a DT-02 and a LRP S10 back to back. Both cost the same (LRP a little cheaper) yet the difference is night at day.
  17. Quite simple, Tamiya base kits like TT, DT or even some of the M (not the R/S/Pro versions) are well over priced. Up a bit, they are more realistically priced but still high compared to what you can get elsewhere.
  18. There is no connection to be made to the motor for a Fusion system. Battery goes directly to the motor. My Team Orion dDrive is similar.
  19. I use these two now. Where space is limited or fitting difficult. Where space not limited and fitting is easy. Both comes with thermal switches, so that I can tell by listening out for the fan that the motor is getting hot, and when the sound of the fan goes away, it is cool.
  20. Heatsink tape is the answer. I use it with any heatsink and the performance improve greatly. I had since been using fans with thermal switch, so that I know when the motor is getting hot.
  21. It works on the same principle as the Tornado Fuel Saver. (Meaning unsustainable claims)
  22. No it does not and you had not discovered a new turbo feature for RC. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twisted_pair#:~:text=Compared to a single conductor, rejection of external electromagnetic interference.
  23. It does not come wired up to connectors so you use any. Also, you can replace the wires by just desoldering the ESC and replace with ones as long as you want. Mine has no connectors and is direct soldered to the motor.
