  1. Belated Happy Birthday, hope you had a great one!
  2. Thanks! This particular build did go a bit over the top and we (me with the guidance of my kids) just kept adding stuff. In fact after this pic we actually added more Kumamon decals:
  3. Great. They seem nicely put made, run very smoothly and the piston options are welcome.
  4. I love the GF-01 platform. It's great fun and pretty versatile. I have too many but it's such a good base for custom builds. Most of mine have Torque Tuned or Sport Tuned motors and I run LiPO. I have one half finished that has a brushless motor but I actually think it will be too much for the chassis and it will never stop flipping.
  5. All good. I’m sure you will put them to good use.
  6. @toyolienI would love these if they are still available? I’m based in Oz though, so is you can’t be bothered with the faff I totally understand! obviously I’m happy to cover postage and packaging cost though.
  7. I use Flickr. It’s free and easy to use. The only real limitation is that with a free account you can only have 1,000 images!
  8. Yes, love these. I don’t think I’ve watched videos that make me want to get out there more!
  9. Absolutely beautiful @Ferruz great choice with the livery and so well executed.
  10. Great work, Very cool. that’s just amazing! 🤩
  11. That’s perfection @technics . Lovely stuff.
  12. Yes it is. I sold my rere clod a while back. It was very cool but I never used it, it was huge and I purchased it complete so never had much connection to it. The next week I saw the QD listed cheap so decided to grab it. Lovely little truck and goes well with my GF01 Bullhead!
  13. Not much time still for any major builds so I decided to dust off a few unfinished projects and try and get them going again. First up was the SW-01 to Donkey Kong kart build to join my Mario Hornet! Still a few things to do but it’s getting closer with the kids help 🤪 This has been a lot of fun…
  14. The problem is that it seems most of the people that quickly get attention and build followers do so through silly stunts, destroying stuff, etc. Keep doing your thing and building slowly is probably the only sensible and sane way to go!
  15. @wtcc5 I use Flickr. You can get a free account with no real drawbacks and plenty of storage and linking pictures to show here is super easy. Plus Flickr has been around for a long time so don’t think it’s going anywhere soon… <cue the immediate shutdown of Flickr> 😝
  16. Nicely finished! What a start to 2024! What’s next?..
  17. You have nothing to apologise for. As for Wild one; I’m still super excited to see it come together
  18. @Nikko85the Mario kart base I used was the Jakks Pacific: But I also used parts from bigger Mario RCs. I don't remember the manufacturer but they were much larger and I used the engine model and Exhausts: I never seem to have time for RC at the moment but I did dust off the SW01 Donkey Kong ride I started early in 2023. The kids gave me some challenges to add so I’m working on that and hope to finish it this week. I’ve also got another hornet that I’ve shorted even further but I’m not sure how I’m actually going to squeeze all the electronics in it! And because I’m a hoarding idiot I’ve also just purchased a Barbie corvette to RCify! I must have about 10 unfinished projects. So I’m really trying not to buy new kits until I’m all caught up…
  19. My real name is Gareth and since I was a little kids lots of friends just call me “G”. When I was at art college I had long hair which stuck out at the sides, like wings! When I started DJing we chose silly names and my mate that I DJed with came up with “G-Wings”. It stuck!
  20. @Kol__as I said in your build thread, you’re EVO is a thing of beauty. Just so good. @Nikko85 great work as always. What a lovely project.
  21. Great stuff @Collectible Cars. A Tamiya Monte Carlo Mini is very high on my wanted list. Usually when I buy already built kits I just don’t have a connection to them and end up reselling them but the mini is so awesome I think I could buy a used one and just find myself staring at it all day!
  22. Being such an infrequent visitor lately I totally missed this thread until now! Amazing work @Kol__. The level of detail in Chais is matched by your great work on the shell. I know some of what you’ve had to do is to cover for printing errors but I honestly think everything you’ve done adds to the look. Absolutely awesome. I said this when you did your last version but the EVO really does have some amazing lines and stance is so good. I’ve got to get one some day.
  23. @SimTechRC sorry to hear about the situation you are in. I hope you and your family are ok.
