@Nicadraus @Ferruz @Yoshimitsu Thanks for the kind words. Fortunately my wife’s cancer was caught early and she is receiving amazing care. Still some way to go and she’s also still dealing with the after effects of a previous accident but the prognosis is good. @lsear2905 thank you. No family here in Oz but our work and friends have been amazing and for me personally this place and our hobby really has been a godsend over the last 12 months.

Brilliant! One of Tamiya’s best in my opinion. Nice find!

Lots of great output as always everyone.@Yoshimitsu too good ! Lovely work. @Willy iinenice addition to your collection and love those rare gifted wheels. I think I’ve officially lost track of your collection now though! @lsear2905 i don’t know anything about RC boats but sounds like you’ve got a bargain and certainly looks lovely. No RC activity for me as between work and caring for my wife (chemo) it’s been a crazy few weeks. Any spare time I have had has been put to playing with my steam deck. If any of you are in to gaming I would thoroughly recommend it. It’s an amazing bit of kit.

Awesome @AshRC! My Pajero is the ReRe with the larger wheels. I much prefer the scale wheels and tyres of your version. Lovely stuff!
-
That doesn’t sound good. Hopefully less stress and more RC on your average day!

Do you not see an option to choose image size when attaching from iPad camera roll? For me I get choices (small, medium, large, original) and each show assumed Mb for the given size. TC MIGHT rescale again at import but unlikely unless the forum code was intentionally set that way.

1. Press on the + icon next to "Quote" ... You will see a little pop-up at the Bottom of your browser saying "Quote 1 post" 2. Then go to this thread 3. Press on the "Quote 1 post" pop-up and add whatever comments you want to make. FYI you can click on the + icon of several posts so you can quote them all in one go. Hope that makes sense?!

Happy Birthday Jeremy! I echo your sentiments entirely. Here’s to the next 5!

@Ray_ve that's a very cool little build. Looks excellent!

fantastic! I absolutely love this.

Good effort. Enjoy it while it lasts

Great work! Looks like you had lots of fun.

Thanks but no special magic tricks, just nice light that day! I shot with my phone but did play around with levels a little. The logos are added in Photoshop.

A pretty beaten-up Marui which I will restore as a light runner at some stage. Already grabbed a few replacement parts for it.
-
Yep, I’ve limited through EPA. Anyway, we are having some good fun with it.
-
Now I must admit I’ve not used mine a lot yet but I find as long as I keep the speed down it’s a great indoor runner and fun to drive. Definitely want some hop-ups for the next one though.

Nicely done @AshRC. Lovely work.

This sounds fun! I recently built a SW01 and love it. I'm slightly in awe/fear of you pairing it with a 3S!!!

Reminds me of Tamiya...

You might be right there! 😂 -

This is my homage! A Radio Shack body on an MF01x chassis. But I think I need to build another with slightly beefier Monster Truck proportions... -
I think it’s another great thread that you’ve started. Nothing to apologise for or to steer clear of in my opinion. Thanks!

Congrats! You’re having quite a week of deliveries mate! Have to say I’m quite jealous of the Bear Hawk. It’s one I’ve just recently fallen in love with.
-
Yep, and don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely getting one but it’s just not quite as pretty as I first thought. Looks like it’s going to be a great runner though.

I was VERY excited about this when I first saw the pictures and videos. Now the initial excitement has died down a little less so. I get that it's necessary but the plastics for the arms and shock mounts etc are a bit bulky and cheap looking and the wheels and tyres are a little off too. Don't get me wrong; I'm still getting one and I'm really hoping it ends up being the great combo of pretty good old school aesthetic with more modern design for better handling and durability. I just don't look at it as lustfully as I did!
