  1. Also, if anyone has any other suggestions for trans/receiver combos in this $60-$80 price range in the US, that would be great!
  2. Is there any difference between these two transmitters? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B2SVQ3M/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=razorrc-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B07B2SVQ3M&linkId=38acb03d92d469726b101ab73d7ff3a0 https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-gt5-6ch-2-4ghz-afhds-2a-surface-radio-w-gt5-receiver.html?queryID=76f717333f869c99899de1fb4a942e1a&objectID=78322&indexName=hbk_live_products_analytics Thanks!
  3. Is this what I'm looking for as an adapter? Edit: Or this?
  4. https://hobbyking.com/pt_pt/turnigy-nano-tech-ultimate-4600mah-2s2p-90c-hardcase-lipo-short-pack-roar-brca-approved.html?queryID=3107e5296382e7a9381f1a31b1b03245&objectID=30790&indexName=hbk_live_products_analytics Just found this, with dimensions 97x47x25. I'd have to get my own 5mm-xt60 leads, but otherwise do you think the dimensions would work? Edit: Also, does anyone know what to look up for the lipo socket thingy to xt60 connector leads? I'm having trouble finding what it's called.
  5. It's seeming difficult to find a 5Ah 2s lipo that's within those size parameters and has an XT60 connector online.
  6. Having a little difficulty finding those gens ace batteries with the holes rather then the wires already on. However, I live in the US so maybe that has something to do with it. The one I've found so far is this, but they're 138 mm. I don't know if you measured your batteries or the total space in your modified battery cage. Edit: This though is 135 mm, but is $10 more expensive.
  7. Thanks. Where would be the best online place to compare and buy batteries? Or should I just look at the 20 different online hobby shops and see what they have.
  8. Cool. That plug came with the imax charger I got, so I don't have to get a new one. Do you know what C rating I should get for a battery with the motor in that combo?
  9. Thanks. If I'm getting this motor/esc combo at 3300kv, what C rating should I have on the battery? Also, does anyone know what battery connector is on the ESC?
  10. Ok, thanks with the help. Still wondering about my original question though:
  11. Also, I just read this article about LiPos and it seems like the act of caring for them is really time consuming and expensive. I already have an Imax B6ac charger, but how much should I be figuring to spend in time and money on top of the batteries themselves, and how much of a difference of speed is it going to be if I just did brushed+nimh(I'm thinking a sport-tuned 540 brushed versus 3300kv brushless and 2s lipo).
  12. I am planning out what electronics I have to get for the Sand Viper, and I'm wanting to know how long the battery cage is so I can narrow that my list of options for batteries. Also, if anyone has any recommendations on LiPos for the Sand Viper, please let me know. Thanks!
