  1. Sorry, I do not; but I know how it feels looking for one part...dang-it!
  2. For me, it is generally seasonal - I mean look, it is fishing and hunting season now; actually I am leaving in two days for a 12 hour trip to hunting and fill in the static time fishing - will I be thinking about RC'n; not a chance. In the summer I am busting Clay's, but there is idle time in-between those days and that is when my RC'n really starts to get more active. Bottom line is - I have an addictive personality and it don't take much to shift me, that is why I stay away from drugs!
  3. I lived in Omaha - well, Ralston, but that got sucked up by Omaha. Ran all through that part of the world - from Grand Island to the "Arm Pit of Omaha" / Council Bluffs, IA ) South to KS and North to SD.

  5. I used clear FlexTape - I am telling ya, it worked great, pliable, flexable (duh), and sticky. I taped the outside first with the blue painters tape to get the lines to match up and then used the FlexTape on the inside - worked like a champ.
  6. Corporate dude in Big Oil. Sorry, it is just what I do.
  7. Also - it is a little more time consuming but, fill the hole with a JB Weld mix and once it is dry, drill it back out, metal screws going into plastic should be self-tapping.
  8. Currently just one - it is a Chevy S10 on a TA02T Chassis.
  9. I am pretty new to RC'n but I like vintage in a lot of venues. I like to keep stuff original or replace, when necessary, with factory original pieces. When I get this TA02T done, I will likely drive it, nicely, until the new battery has met its life span, then retire it. But, will have it to where all I need to do is add battery and go. If I ever see an RC Show (like a car show) to attend, I'd take it ready and rolling - I just never see them anywhere, maybe no one does anything like that.
  10. Are these bodies made of Lexan - or maybe more specifically, how to fix tears in the body?
  11. I am missing the inner rear hub nuts and pins - which I have ordered them online from Hong Kong, but they are blue ones, also ordered some missing screws, and washers - we'll see if they ever show up, may have been a monetary donation. The red inner nuts and pins are somewhere in that attic, I am confident - because he'd have had to had them to operate it. Not sure what possessed him to take it apart, but he did. I am missing, and cannot find, the brass step down bushing for the rear upper shock mount, Tamiya assembly number MC6 and Tamiya part number 19804471 - if anyone has one in their parts bin, I'd try to make a deal. Other than that, if my Hong Kong parts ever arrive, I should be able to get this dude running.
  12. BTW here is a line up of what I dug out of the attic and have been working on - except the Stampede (blue one) and the Horizon boat (orange one) - those I have purchased the last couple years for my grandson. Who is the one who got me to dig this other stuff out.
