  1. Thanks for this tip! The rears have massive amonts of toe in and I assumed that this was supposed to increase stability in the FF setup but I always wanted to correct it. Didnt know that the uprights are side specific and will definitly follow your recommendation next time I have the chassis in my hands. As I didnt build it myself I dont know about these specifics, so it's really cool that I can learn about it here
  2. Man, that's such a good idea, thanks! I actually painted them white without thinking much about it but black would be perfect. Will definitely do that! I got the stickers off ebay, actually they are replacement stickers for Spoon/regamaster wheels. The muffler is basically a bit of pipe on a metal strip, you can see it here:
  3. Looks really good out there Just curious, what would you say is lacking in terms of performance, compared to an SCX10?
  4. Hi everyone, a few years ago I bought a bashed up FF01 PIAA Accord because I wanted to later teach my son the differences between different chassis concepts (FF, FR, RR....) and because i drooled over the FF01 cars in the ads as a kid. Still remember a Williams Clio that I found cool. Well , my son was 1 at the time so I had to wait a few years ^^ This year, finally, I got it out of its box and immediately discarded the body as it was beyond saving. I got a replacement EG Civic body off a TT02D and decided to make this a JDM Touge kind of car. The chassis itself was in ok-good condition. Already eqiipped with ball diff and shocks as well as partial ball bearings, it received a clean, completed set of bearings, new speed controller with a Sport Tuned motor. Still have to perform a rebuild of the shocks. As for the body, it received a Spoon Sports inspired paint job: The wheels were pretty bad, but have been refurbed by now. The chassis received CC01 CVDs and a steering upgrade. And made an appropriate exhaust Out on the track As you can see, the rear wheel position is not great, as the wheelbase is a few mm off. A friend printed a set of new suspension arms but i couldnt fit them yet. Also, i might have blown the diff on the last outing, so a complete rebuild might be in order. That's it for now. Chris
