So I've got a Kyosho Beetle on its way and I'm unsure about the motor to whack in it I'm a bit sad in that I'd like to stay on brand with it Want to stay brushed and would like something comparable to say a Tamiya with a Super stock bz Would the Beetle and 490 Le Mans be a similar setup ?

Last couple of bits came in the post this morning so Grasshopper is finished. Apart from the odd Decal and the slightly larger wheels I have on her, this is 99% the car my Dad built for me and I'm happy with that π Huge thanks to @ThunderDragonCy for the help in tracking down some of the hard to find bits I have to say that Ian at Jk-Rc was awesome and so was John from JC Racing. They have most definitely earned themselves a repeat customer

Yes I have an eco wash. Would you say its best to take the parts out before the drying cycle and just allow to air dry instead -

Thank you @Superluminal Ok I'll add that to my ever growing shopping list βΊοΈ Stupid question and dont laugh but would I still use a dishwasher tablet if I pop bits in the dishwasher ? Do I need to be wary of the temperature as well ? -

I'm looking forward to all the build threads π as I don't really know a lot of the models you have in your pile of shame π -
That looks great. I didn't know there was an issue if a bigger motor was fitted as I was planning on doing that with mine in due course

Blimey don't think I've ever inspired anyone in my life π€£ but I'll gladly take the credit. Good to see I'm not the only overly enthusiastic middle aged person rediscovering the hobby -
I'd like to see how yours came out @TurnipJF π

Intrigued sounds ominous π it'll be as close to my original as I think I can get it without stumbling upon some original parts Chassis is done as far as I can go while I'm waiting for the new wheels (neon yellow) and bottom of the shocks (yellow) Will finish of the bodyshell later today after some grub π
