  1. Oh nice! I've been wanting to get one but missed them on the first run some months back. Where did you get it? My local stores don't expect to have any for at least another month.
  2. I'm so envious that you managed to get that kit!
  3. Great to see another Dane on the site! (Assuming from the Speedhobby links ) TT-02s are definitely a good starting points for anyone doing there first Tamiya kit. Both for building and driving as they are easy to work on and fast enough to entertain for quite some time. As you mention I would add an extra battery. A 2000mAh will run out of juice quickly, so I would add a 4000 - 5000mAh or similar. EDIT: Of the ones on the site, probably this one: https://www.speedhobby.dk/products/hpi-plazma-7-2v-5000mah-nimh-battery
  4. My son is really into the Traxxas cars and they offer a fairly different experience compared to our Tamiyas. While Tamiya offers fairly old school designs that arent made to be driven too hard, Traxxas makes some properly heavy duty stuff. If you want to race hard or send your car from a ramp several meters in the air a Traxxas (or Arrma) is the way to go. Traxxas parts are really cheap though, compared to Arrma ones.
  5. We do this all the time on 1/24 model kits with Tamiya Black Panel Wash, but I've never actually thought of doing it on a RC car body. Looking at these images it's clear I should though! If there's a crease in the body, I would definitely use the Panel Wash, if not the sharpie approach looks like its working well. Not to sure my hands are steady enough though
  6. Thats really cool! I've never seen those before. Can you give a bit more info on the kit? It looks like it's running two batteries at once? And is it a 380 motor?
  7. Have to get rid of a few of my kits so selling the 47435 R5 Turbo kit. The kit is completely factory fresh and unopened. Litterally just kept on a shelf to look at - the lid has been of the box for the photos, that's it. No scratches on the box or anything either. Just like when it rolled of the factory. The kit is in Denmark but I can ship it to all countries - most of EU countries for free and for £10 or something like that to UK. Price around €400 / £330
