  1. Hey all.... recently discovered the Blackfoot ReRe in order to relive my childhood... and I'm sure many folks know where it started going from there. Among exploring some of the "newer" brands, going back and getting all the Tamiya's I wished I'd had as a kid. Lunchbox is on the docket now and while it's a blast, of course steering leaves somethings to be desired and I found a couple of options here on some old/inactive threads.... 1) Centered servo (which also worked well w/ my Blackfoot ReRe), except for the LB, it's all DIY. However, I can't for the life of me see how it will work w/o hacking up the chassis, which I really do not want to do - even though this doesn't seem to be the case on some pics I've see of others. Here is mine, the servo would need to be shifted all the way to the left until the body is next to the chassis.... but you can see the servo mount can't fit where the chassis angles up, even with a good bit of trimming (circled in attached pic). 2) I purchased the ampro suspension set (the wide version w/ +8mm offset) and the note on the page says "This kit has reinforced arms with a thin, 2mm wall through the center of the arms and requires a 2mm rod to be inserted through the pivot point and glued in place". However, after watching the installation video several times, I swear I do not see this step - but the audio also seems to be out of sync in the video by about 10-15 seconds which makes it a bit challenging (especially the part where he is pointing to the various holes on the video and saying "drill this one, but don't drill that one" ). The version I received is also appears to be an updated version vs. the one in the video, which has a bit more reinforcing material. Any ideas? I sent a note via Shapeways a couple of days back, but figured I'd ask here while I wait. Thanks!
