Well , a year later and my upgrades Switched to a op-2024 front diff , broke it on the jumps. Switched to a front spool. Switched from the Subaru 2008 or 2007 bodies to a GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid because of the 190mm width and the 416mm length. Switched shocks from the cva mini to cva short to Big Bore Plus to gf01 shocks. Broke 3 hard chassis’s, so went back to stock. Changed from the grey hard steering parts to a cheap alum steering. Since the Yaris has a 190mm width changed from +2 wheels to plus +4.

They have an online shop too. https://www.super-rc.co.jp/rc/ -
I bought these 3.5mm and installed them last week

I build with steel hex screws and then change the upper screws to titanium and leave the lower steel. I usually tap and replace the taps every chassis , especially with carbon filled plastic. I usually use Square brand screws , I looked at AliExpress bulk titan screws but haven’t bought any yet. I think of titan screws as a tuning tool to get a chassis under race weight or to shift cog.

Recently there are no dampers in Japan , they are out of stock and if in stock , they are selling at a premium.

This a public group build , to make a better tt02 Rally car. I built a tt02 rally machine a few years ago. I hope Pylon80 can add some of his upgrades. The past few weeks, I have been working on getting better grip on the front. I changed my dampers to cva short from mini and replaced the piston with Trf and went from #400 to #600 oil. The front had gum and aw in the diff but with the high temperature recently it became a big mess. Put in the xvo2 direct diff , and have the xv02 oil diff and tt02 spool as backup. Today was experimenting with 38mm shaft on the left and 33mm on the right.

Ok I will post a tt02 rally thread and we can update each other

Do you have any updates on the cc01 dampers? I just switched over to cva short dampers from cva mini , and am using xv02 springs with Trf piston and rod guide.

The open faced reinforced rod ends(54869)are designed to work with hardened pillow balls(op.969). They allow us to quickly add a spacer to adjust camber or adjust upper arm angles or steering angles.

I have 2 SR and the SRX and a tt02 and a tt02b , right at the moment all Trf dampers are sold out , CVA dampers are ok but difficult to accurately adjust ride height. The Ta08 comes with TRF dampers(shocks) , the TA series are about 100gms lighter than the SR , I was looking at a members TA06 yesterday and I think my next buy will be a TA07 or TA08 (my son has the TA08 , SR and SRX) My first suggestion would be to join a track , I do like driving my cars in front of the house. But find it much more enjoyable to build my cars at the track and chat with other members. Also if you do get into racing , then you build each car to class rules. Each class has specified motors , esc , tires , body and weight specifications.

The double cardan really help when cornering , make sure you install the spring clips as per instructions. The first time I reversed them and lost the clips. The xv02 spool works very well and lightens up the front.

I think if you glued 2 thinner spacers to the yellow spring it would reduce scratching.

The Tamiya aluminum works very well with 68 and 64 and up to 26 pinion but when using a 28 can be picky. But the Yeah Racing has a problem , it is slightly out of alignment with larger pinions. I heard there is another maker that machines the slot but I haven’t bought it yet. I have 64/28 and 68/25 on my SR’s. Make sure the chassis slot and motor mount are totally clean
