    Now for the electronics! Tested them out made sure they were working and stuck em on! Didn't realize the kit didn't come with tire glue but at least it gives me an opportunity to get rally blocks 😅

    Suspension mounted and working! Nice and smooth. I love how it looks on the car

    Starting on the shocks. Decided to use the shorter eyelets so I can mount in the top hole. I used harder springs (yellow) in the rear and softer (red) in the front.

    Front and rear suspension arms modded and finished.

    Driveshaft in! Super smooth Fast forward, have the motor in and gear mesh set. Haven't modded the suspension yet. Also switched locations

    I'm thinking of sticking a super stock rz motor in here just for a quick upgrade. I haven't seen anyone use one in a TT-02 but I have seen them used for other cars. I'll test it out and see!

    That's what I want to do but I don't have a soldering iron yet and this was just easier for now.

    Man I've been here frequently... Anyway! I got some 60mm shocks and the Tamiya hard tuned spring kit for my TT-02 that I'm building for rally and was wondering which density springs to use where? I was thinking medium in the front and hard in the back but I really don't know... Does anyone know what should go where?

    Servo and bearings came. Where I live it gets wet so I bought a waterproof one that also has a warranty just in case! Bought the wrong adapter though and quickly ordered a new one so it can be here by this weekend...

    I think this is the right place to post this so, I'm looking at getting a dust cover for my TT-02 but I'm wondering, will the motor and ESC get hot? Just pure plastic and not even mesh seems weird...

    Should I get the Tamiya or Kamtec one? I've seen that they are similar but I feel like they really restrict air flow and would make it heat up. I've seen some mesh ones on eBay that look very similar to the one I use on my Typhon 3s which works great. Also I will probably 3d print some wheel covers for over the wheels that should hopefully help.

    Made my first ever RC body! Had a few hiccups with painting and decals but from a distance you can't tell... Took 13 hours to do! Totally worth it.

    Finished the body! Took about 13 hours and I'm pretty happy with the result! Some of the stickers do have bubbles and like 1 or 2 have wrinkles or are slightly off but it turned out nice!

    The rest of the parts have been ordered! Hopefully this build will be done by this weekend!

    Also I did touch up the front paint so I don't cringe every time I look at it. It's so beautiful 🤩

    Alrighty! I think I'm finally done with this! It took 13.5 hours in total to do and I'm pretty happy with it. Just got all the accessories and light buckets in because I don't think I'll be adding a light kit. Anyways the rest of the electronics should arrive soon so hopefully the rest of the kit will be built this weekend!

    There a quite a few overlaps, slightly off, and bubbles in the stickers but after getting as much fixed as I can I am pretty happy with it! I will do some more touch ups tomorrow (well later today I guess) seeing as it is 1:00am. Also I will actually mount everything because in the photo everything was just stuck on for the photo. Thanks guys for helping me with this!

    Sorry for not updating because I was making food while making the body but...! After 12 hours from start to finish my first ever RC body shell has been completed!!!

    Done with the paint! There was a little bit of bleeding but I will get it off.

    Too much of a perfectionist to leave it looking like that so I fixed it up and now it looks much better!

    Here's the masking done. The film got roughed up in a few spots so I just tapen them up. Hand painted the grill. It looks pretty good so far. Just going to chalk the uneven lines up as wear and tear from rallying...

    Starting to do the body today!! Got all the mounting holes done and cut out the body. I did mess up the front ones a little bit but the light still fits.
