Sadly those are out of budget seeing as I only have enough money to buy the servo and bearings. I planned out everything to fit into a specific budget so can't really add anything unless it's an upgrade. 😕

But I thought Tamiya shells usually comes pre-drilled? With pre-drilled shells, I usually do it at the same time as the chassis as time is needed for paint to dry and watching paint dry is boring.
No it isn't sadly. There do seem to be these indicators though? I don't really know if that's what they're for. Also I have a friend coming over to build it with me so I want to have the body done beforehand.
The circled area is one of them. There seem to be a set of them near the middle of the hood and some near the bottom for xv-02 pro possibly.

I'm painting my first RC body shell which is a Audi Quattro A2 Rally for my upcoming TT-02 build.
I was just wondering if I should paint the body after I build my TT-02 or before and also if I ream the holes before or after painting the body shell?
Thanks!

If you limit the stroke with internal spacers you could use the normal (upper) mounting position. The limiting factor on a TT-02 (once you have trimmed the limiting tabs on the arms and knuckles) is in the drive shafts. But writing this almost requires a spoiler alert! Enjoy the build 😊 Making a rally car with the TT-02 is a huge amount of fun.
Yeah that's what I heard so I'm just going to use the lower mounts until I can get some new drive shafts hopefully in the near future.

I will be using the 60mm yeah racing shock gear shocks. I was recommended them because I will be modding the chassis to have a higher ride height.

More parts arrived!
Here are the springs I chose because they were recommended to me. Should I do soft in the front and hard/medium in the back of the other way around?
Also I bought the high speed gear set.
I thought I would also try this 2s Ovonic battery because it's supposed to be the largest battery you can fit (I doubt it) and people say it's a good battery 👍
I mainly run Zeee batteries but all of them were supposedly too big for the TT-02
