Hey mid pros... Should I get an undertray for a new build I intend to run? I m Referring tp the wide one that will align nicely to the top cover. Does it keep the dirt away? Any links to a decently priced one? 10x!

man thats a tough call. its very subjective. on one hand i got one for 450usd last month nib in an auction... and also there might be a rere coming like you suggest but on the other hand both you guys are from australia so shipping and customs are neglegable and the premium the guy asks is not on the greedy side imho. again, very subjective... i guess to each his own... BTW, you can always contact the seller andmaybe close a better price...

i am not connected in the industry like the sydney shop but I can say there has been zero info regarding a rere of this kit... so either the sydney shop is sharing a top secret or they just have wishful thinking. in your situation I would not put a pre order - its sketchy imho. when you say 950$ do you mean usd or aud?... good luck! hi all servos have the degree of operation (usually, 120/180/270/360) I have a few questions regarding this: 1. I have seen a servo with 180 angle badge but states that it has a "remote control angle of 90-120" what does this mean? how is it a 180 servo then? (example: Injora INJS014 ) 2. do RC buggies like tamiya kyosho etc can benefit 180 servos? or will they work fine with 120 or even 90 (without affecting the possible range of steering that the buggy allows) 2. if I understand correctly the math, assuming i put a servo whos full range of operating degrees is "ok" with the buggy (such that no EPA is needed). if I do a trim/subtrim this will make the left\right operating endpoints to be uneven? . is this correct?for example: if I have a 120 degree servo, and I trim 3 degrees, than one side will have a lesser turn and some side a bigger turn (117 and 123 respectivaly) thanks for your explanations.

TBH, eventually I think its a small price to pay if you got a good deal for a car that is hard to come by... in this case, I would do it all over again. of course I assume all will be ok and the package will eventually make it in good condution with all contents (excluding the grease/oil) but that remains to be seen...

Hi all; I am reading some manuals (not sure why) and noticed the step below. i understand that AW is needed but I dont see lines connecting to which elements it should be applied. how does one know which parts to apply the AW gel to in this case? usually, for regular grease, there is a grease tube drawing with lines connecting the tube to the parts that are needed to be greased... thanks

how is it that the HW1060 sometimes underperform its clones (branded and unbranded)? maybe they are not actual "clones"? for example. at the extreme end of the spectrum, the kyosho KA060-91W seem to do a lot better in the video below. and not by a small margin...

Hi all I remember when buliding my neo scorcher I had 1 bottle of shock oil to fill all 4 shocks. (see pic below from another unboxing vid") i was wondering if anyone knows if it was a 20ml single bottle like you see here: https://tamico.de/Tamiya-53443-Soft-Oil-200300400 or a bigger one with 40ml like this one: https://tamico.de/TAMIYA-54714-Silikon-Oel-600-40ml I am not talking about the oil weight just the bottle size... will a small single bottle fill most tamiya standard 4wd shocks? would a large bottle only fill it? thanks

Short update: the buyee staff stated that oil and grease must also be removed and reiterated that my only option of I want intl shipping is to open the box and remove the items. So I have allowed this an ask them to either picture or list the items they are removing.... In the next update let's see what happens [Update Jan 7th] BUyee have sent a list of thing to be removed and identified all grease and oil products in the kit (4 in total) as cannot be shipped intl. I have opted to remove and discard them and continue to send the opened kit intl...

Apparently, me choosing to inspect for. Couple of bucks will cost me another 60 bucks of oil, grease etc they will remove from the kit which I will have to order separately. You live and you learn. Let this be a lesson for others to learn from BTW, I am still waiting on them to state what going away but I went through the parts list and it's at least 4 items

my only doubt is the genova which seems to be half pre built... hmmm maybe I need some other 2wd for the dream collection... I will dream of something tonight.

ok since its my first time i was confused about their email notifying me about removing problematic items from the kit (its a sealed kit) I wonder if i hadnt paid for an inspection what would have happend since these are not really problematic materials to ship. I guess its a balance between buyee opening the kit in an orderly fashion or taking a chance that some japan regulation will stop the shipping or something. but if someone knows that you can bypass this kit opening by simply not asking for an inspection (which you actually pay for) please let us know...

is grease not allowed on a plain from Japan? thats very strange... all kits come with grease I assume so they need to open all kits and take out grease tubes? BTW, "throw those out, or ship those prohibited items to japan address" what do they mean by ship to japan address? if i have someone from japan i can send to? i need the whole kit to go on the plane

I am not a racer and probably will not feel the difference between fast and no so fast servos. But from an objective perspective, this the vid is mind-blowing. Seems like 2 different servo classes...
