  1. Yes I have tried it with the motor connected and also with the steering servo connected. Does not make a difference. Throttle does not work and steering does not work. Red light on switch never comes on. The radio is a Flysky from Bob at Hobbyconcepts who seems to specialize in these trucks so yes its compatible with the MFC. The shift servo works because it is not run through the MFC, I have it connected to channel 5 on a 3 position switch. I am thinking the MFC is defective, but still hoping its something simple that I am missing.
  2. Thanks for the reply. Yes I have removed all 3 cables that connect the switch to the MFC and inspected all the male and female pins as well as the wire connections and it all looks good. Reconnected them and they all plug in and seat just fine. These are hard to get wrong, but I did make sure that they are all plugged in the correct direction as well. I didn't mention earlier, but I have also tried to move the selector switch out of the center position. Nothing different in any of the three positions.
  3. Hi, hoping for some help on a new mfc-01 unit that won't start. I am building a new King Hauler and am just setting up the mfc prior to installing it. The red light will not turn on on the mfc controller switch. When I attempt to start, the speaker makes a humming noise only. I'm using a flysky radio from hobby concepts. I only have the speaker, control switch, and 4 cables connected to the receiver. The switch on the mfc controller is in the center position. Being powered with a 7.2 volt nimh battery and I confirmed voltage, and there is 5 volts going to receiver. Shift servo that plugs into channel 5 works fine. Does anything else need to be connected for the mfc to start? I also tried to connect my Jeti DS24 to it and it wouldn't start with that radio either. This mfc unit was purchased 3 years ago from Ebay and I am just now getting around to starting this project. The unit seemed to be intact, in all the factory packaging. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
